I think the income is paramount. And correct on the 10k. He barely has that now…and not enough time. Need to keep using all 3 cards and paying them off…every month. Not sure what to do now…don’t want to go 5/24 so fast and nothing else is a MUST have now….decisions, decisions….Will deal with it after I return from my trip.

Recently read a study on kidney stones — I think from one of the Michigan universities. Conclusion is that if you suffer, as I do, from kidney stones, ride a roller coaster!

And I grew up riding the Giant Dipper in Belmont Park (SAN). Still one of my favorite rides tho tame compared to anything at Cedar Point.

In reply to John. From the time of applying, my credit limit with Chase is about 55% of income stated without including the ink bold limit of $10k. I haven't even bothered with the CSR (I think could only make it if the rules were closer to 27/24)

For the CSR, I suspect it’s a combination of income and credit score.

Keep in mind that the CSR is an Visa Infinite card (10k minimum credit line). Chase tends to be conservative in their maximum exposure.

This is based on 2 datapoints (so please prove me wrong if I am), based on my experience and SO, our maximum credit limit with Chase seems to be ~1/3 of annual income stated.
