Yeah, we really can’t track the evolution of anything at all. The ability to capture light and see was just as random phenomenon that occurred in multiple species and at multiple time points. Kind of a waste to keep reinventing the wheel and why bother improving that wheel with time?

I don’t think science is a joke but “pure luck” is a pretty good way to explain the theory of evolution.
