Just finished a 6 day trip to Shanghai and on my way to PVG for 12h of LX C. thanks to spg/mr merging I got lounge access at the local Ren as humble spg gold. Very nice.

No they are not crap. It’s just that I see SO many come my way in Feedly OMG! And the sales reps always pushing the credit cards in each post. Of course they take so long to add them that the deals are already gone, TPG is awesome at that, wow, all the staff!!

I get theflightdeal and a few others in my phone from Twitter as texts. I looked at the Europe fares but we just could not settle down on dates yet as there is a good chance I may need to go back to Greece with my brother to move mother to a small apartment, the house is way too big for her to handle.

Iran trip report update: Finished editing pics, deleting some, rotating some upside down, etc. Next step is to upload them. Then resize them. Then started writing. Of course I just finished resizing the pics from my June Asia trip…and about to start writing that one…any day now…it is coming…maybe a few years from now I will get it done. I probably would quit by then, definitely do not go long on TBB lol.

Yes. And I finally tried it at the Qatar Business class lounge in DOHa! I did not like much, way too sweet.

You know, when I receive that super attractive offer to sell out, I will go back and count all the Firsts and then give back…in a form of gift cards or something, woohoo!

1) I don’t think those Airfare Deal posts are necessarily “crap”, I booked a weekend in Amsterdam for ($375 r/t) from a post on Thrifty Flyer that I wouldn’t have otherwise known about. The “crap” part of it is the “Titans” posting it sensationally a day after it goes live.

2) Pointimize is ok, more useful if you have points spread across many hotel programs I think.

3) where’s the Iran trip report????
