You make some good points. Then again the latest President has provided some brilliant comedic moments at SNL. When you are rooting for a porn star against the US President…something is wrong….with everything lol.

At the end of the day, we keep bitching but we keep making progress in the world.

In the meantime, the North Korean Doritos freak gets to negotiate one on one with the US President in Singapore of all places. That is really far to bring that toilet of his wow! Goes to show you that if you want something really bad you get nukes. If you don’t, well, look at Sadam and Quadafi…

Presidency article is very good. I’ve often thought that over the past two centuries we’ve seen too much power shift to the executive branch and expanded its role far beyond what it should be. We the people seem to insist on building up the office of the President to god-like stature then getting pissed when the mortal that fills the role falls short. We had a revolution to get out from under a king but then it’s as if we want a king back.

In reply to TBBTheDude. My best advice for losing weight? A 2-3 week trek or bike tour. Not an easy one, and not one where you pig out every night. Always add a few layover days so you don’t get burned out.

Now down 19.2 lbs. I was certain the downwards movement did not continue as we went out to a Korean joint yesterday with son who is back from Europe.

They are the ones who killed yet ANOTHER deal. Now watch them again say it is not so bad while they still pump the same travel rewards credit cards to unsuspecting readers kept in the dark thinking it is all about showing them how to travel for free.
