If I stay somewhere without good wifi I just use my hand-me-down iPhone as a hot spot. I have no idea if other brands have the same functionality (I assume they do), or if others have enough data available in their plan (we seem to).

This is especially true in foreign countries, where I usually buy a SIM card anyway and can’t seem to ever use all the data I’m given for $20.

Thanks for the comments. I am at the Sheraton Grand in Phoenix. Fully booked. Made the checkin guy feel so bad at my faked disappointment not getting a suite upgrade that got us lounge access during the stay, a free cocktail and a $15 credit. Works for me.

If I can only get the wifi to work in my room and my cracking/dying laptop!

Here’s your first assignment…look up how happy the citizens of Scandinavia are–even living where they do–with their Democratically elected Democratic SOCIALIST governments. Your second assignment is to look up how happy American Citizens are on average that they have this horrible Socialist program named…wait for it…SOCIAL Security.

I’d love to have an intelligent conversation with you about these issues, but it’s clear from your comment that you can’t really bring too much to the table. Maybe when you ‘gradiate from skool’?

…I just called and they told me that some dweeb in marketing (my words) accidently sent out a bunch of letters to people and that they were incorrect. They will now be sending out retraction letters.
