From what I’ve been seeing (FT and elsewhere), it seems that even folks with legitimate businesses who have sent in appropriate documentation of such, are struggling to get approved or just flat-out getting denied (when their credit score, etc. are supposedly fine).

Really cool about the sudden savants! I had heard of it happening after certain injuries but didn’t know it could spontaneously occur.
