I followed your link to the Hyatt Puerto Rico and looked at the room types. As a Globalist one thing I found interesting is that the suites are not listed like suites in every other Hyatt, instead of stating whether they are a standard suite or a premium suite they all just say “this is a suite”. That sounds like a scam to avoid handing out upgrades. I’d expect such moves from Marriott but not really from Hyatt.

Down to under 100k IHG points in the bank now after getting daughter two nights in a Miami South beach front hotel.

I almost used a Radisson for those two night but I just couldn’t do that to her lol.

In reply to DML. I am curious about what you found in London using IHG. We used to go to the Crown Plaza Kensington for 5 nights-2 certs, 3 for cash. Total was usually over 750 pounds for those 3 nights. Then they devalued and there are few if any central London hotels where IHG certs are still good. So I dropped the IHG ccs and plan to pay cash at independent, smaller hotels from now on.

Took my first flight since March 2020. But it always seems like everyone that surrounds me is in an airport is there for the first time in their life. Personally I wouldn’t mind if social distancing became permanent.
