Hi,

Water is very deep! Emphasis on very. In contrast to the beaches north (Platamonas, Neoi Poroi, Mesaggala) where water is very shallow.

You go five to six steps and you are floating already!

I second this. I stayed with my wifes family in Trinidad and Tobago back in April/May and it was so much more enriching because we were with family and I was seeing her country from a local’s eyes. I am very much anti-tourist and love the path less traveled (that’s where you truly find the hidden gems). More trip reports please!

They are so how my family travels, coach, cheap eats, hanging out with grandma. They are such a nice contrast from seeing a 2 year old travel in first class and dine at the most expensive restaurant in the city. Yours always make me feel like I should be laid back on vacation, theirs always make me feel inadequate so thank you for showing those of us that follow the hobby that this is how most people travel and it’s just as interesting and amazing, if not as luxurious.

Although sometimes it’s overkill if they bring the little bottle of raki after you’ve already had a “kilo” of wine!
