Other than a few big tech names, most of the stocks have taken a beating. Chalk up one more win for index funds…until that situation changes…

Again Iwould like to thank Mr Powell for saving my portfolio. With his support I long ago abandoned the 60:40 portfolio for the 100:0 portfolio (+crypto). And now he’s pumping up the value of my house by reducing mortgage rates. Keep buying those bad loans and make sure the next generation is priced out of house buying!
I used to wonder when healthcare would be >20% of the economy. And it happened “ total health spending to $4.1 trillion last year, a 9.7% increase that was the biggest in20 years” . That number would be smaller if most were vaccinated. How do I invest in hospitals? (BTW XBI is down 20% YTD so don’t blame biotech).
I missed out on the Aadvantage deal of the year. Painful.

Reader question: How to extend expiration date of Hyatt points? Can not transfer from Chase and does not want to buy points. Does an award booking and subsequent cancellation work? Any other ways to get an activity in the account before 12/31? Assuming Hyatt will not extend expiration…or maybe it did already?
