Used to churn SPG, now Marriott a bit. I don’t discriminate on hotel chains. My general approach in this hobby is to churn CCs, earn and spend points/miles. Like everyone else, right? SPG was special, my parents and inlaws were down for my management of their accounts.

Churn SPG? Do Tell.

We flew Alaska here via SEA, they had awards open for 4 of us . I burned some SPG points and Hyatt. Nothing special, just trying to ‘churn, earn and burn’. You know me, I book 11 months out or 2 weeks out, so my award seats are usually there.

I do have plenty of WN $$, so decided to do United this time. For me, EWR is less than an hour away, so it made sense.
