In reply to GeorgeTBB. In the past college soccer allowed the US to be dominant at the World Cup. European clubs have invested in academies and produced a new class of players. Yes, SE should win, but there may be too much historical respect for the USWNT. US soccer (M+F) needs to rethink the approach to find talent, it is far too expensive to play soccer (as a child) in the US compared any other country in the world. The talent pool should be much bigger.

Argentina badly needed Messi in the Women’s WC. Brazil……. not sure what happened (Marta getting old)? And Canada, winning the Olympic Games and then exiting the WC. Colombia beating Germany (beautiful first goal by CO)! Can we the people finally lock up Trump, please? What’s the Saudi game plan for the football league? Looks like a complete waste of money. Nobody outside the country will watch the games. It takes decades to build loyalty in sports.

Yeah…that appears to be a pattern sadly.

Amex has been doing this and it appears other banks are going that route…bypassing paying bloggers with enticing direct and referral offers.

Or maybe it is more due to the fact I don’t post every other hour faking my enthusiasm for every credit card that pays me a commission while continuing to post clickbait to attract morons who then I cultivate with yet more “exciting” credit card offers….sigh.

Amazingly, your Citi AA card posted…on July 31….This blog has ceased going blank for a whole calendar month! The TBB staff are about to throw a party…clearly, the comeback has started.
