Don’t know his FT handle. Been around FT for years. Was an attorney near you I think. Jokester type, very active in social media. Recently married and adopted his wife’s kids. Has had some serious professional issues which led to…you know where I am going there. Anyway, I was picking up my bib when friend texted me about it…and I had to compose myself. Stunned is an understatement.

Lowered my PR by 4 minutes. I’ll take it but I was aiming to lower it by at least 10 so kind of disappointing. Did not follow my race plan because I am just too cocky thinking I can keep up the beginning pace….which I did to about Mile 16 when everything started to fall apart and willed myself to mile 24 reaching waaaaaaaaaay deep to take my mind off the pain I was experienced below my waist everywhere. Someway somehow I managed to finish strong and caught up with the 4.25 pacer. Those dreams of reaching one day under 4 hours appear even longer in the distance now…but I am not giving up because I am stubborn.

Get a weekly email about my blog stats. Even less readership, email subscribers stuck at 557 for months, only one cc conversion this month while….never mind.

Oh, wife finished her first marathon yesterday too, very proud of her. I thought that she will quit for sure because she did not prepare as diligently as she should have.

Good luck in the marathon! I’d be thrilled just to do a 5k in less than 30 minutes.

Yeah, that Montenegro Prince find I linked to today…what a find, still amazed. Also amazed he tried to hit up his driver for half of the gas LOL.

Anyway, the 80k CSP offer is now out to affiliates. Including me for a change! Over at Boarding Area is officially CSP Area, LOL.

Marathon plan, after speaking with my coach, has been adjusted to more realistic levels, that sub 4 hour goal will have to wait until Chicago marathon later this year.
