I had never heard of that condition, it blew my mind, I still think about it! Like I said, there is still so much we don’t know…

In Euope, it is a combination of so many factors, covid fatigue, too many variants, EU slowness in emergency settings, bad vaccine ordering decisions from the outset…and more slowness in general. I mean, in Greece on Indpenendence Day they did 37 vaccinations…only someone changed it to 147 sad lol. The 1918 pandemic went like this, I think people just got sick of all the measures…I think the same is happening now…but with vaccines!

John Oliver has some incredibly funny rants. Not all of them are on of course, kind of like SNL lately 🙂 I did not see the one with the debt, it must have not been a good one as it did not even hit my screens. And that should tell you something. There is a lot of talk about the national debt. It has been going on ever since…it started. It is a loaded subject…I like the views of the Pragmatic Capitalism blogger on this. But, like everything else, we evolve in how we see things. I was previously dead set against Basic Income. I now feel differently about it after the pandemic…

No realted to this, was wondering if anyone saw a post with a good analysis of what’s goin on in Europe. I reas about the vaccine rollout disaster and overall C-19 collapse in many countries. Of course, some places are doing better than others.

Lastly, @TBB did you see the latest John Oliver episode about national debt? I lost my last respect to the man many months yet watched that episode. I know you don’t like to criticize fellow comrades but that thing is just beyond propoganda.

By the end of the year, assuming no Covid surprises, I will surpass 60 and meet this amazing concierge to see what they can do. But I am not rushing to get there…

Stubborn old man on this…If only someone had convinced him that they are index funds but better and cheaper and…if you know what you are doing you don’t trade them as much as he feared people would…well, then again, he died before Robinhood broke through lol.

If you’re at 53, can you just do 7 more nights and then outsource the upgrades to your concierge?

I believe Bogle died only having owned mutual funds. He never understood why one would own ETFs when you should HODL.
