Extreme railway journeys around the world. Some of these look so bad! Myanmar and Yamal Railway anyone? I would rather read a trip report from one of these instead of watching some entitled dude showing off a flat bed drinking Krug! Petra from the air. Stunning!
Flying with North Korea’s Air Koryo. If/when I do it it will be for the “mystery-meat” burger. And for the flight attendants #wow.

Why is Reselling so attractive to the MS world? Interesting thoughts and thanks for the mention!
…So Who Needs Blogs Anyway?ย They do have a place of course but if you have FlyerTalk and TBB you are going to be covered hehe. Thanks for the mention!
We are not done yet, TBB is taking over the world. Going for the third back link, WOW! Probably redefining clickbait by Personal Finance Digest: “In praise of Million Mile Secrets“.ย I want to praise MMS too for learning how to enthusiastically place my exclamation marks in strategic places perfectly suited to generate clicks and…ultimately, you know it baby, CONVERSIONS!
You know you are pushing credit cards when this guy trolls you lol. (HT: CW)

Reselling …. I don’t get it. Surely the value of the points is a rounding error compared to what you gain or lose on the transaction?
If people wanted to start a business ‘selling stuff’ then whether you earn points buying your stock or not should be nothing but a small by-product.
It’s like joining the army purely because you think green clothes suits you.

I succumbed to clicking the Petra from air link as I’m still in awe of my trip there a couple of months ago…the drone pics are great, but I had some of the same views from the tops of those cliffs! When I was on a cliff overlooking the Monument I saw a Boudin walking on top of the Monument-crazy but I knew i wanted to do that too. After I returned from walking the 800+ steps to the Monastery I hired a boudin to take me to the “high place” to be there at sunset- so another 600-800 steps up. Totally exhausting but worth it. The scenery from there was breathtaking and my guide, who was 26 yrs old, born and raised there, had some interesting stories. Walking back down in the dark the steps and trails then back through the siq was an experience to say the least.
On the trip back down he described the overlook of the treasury. I had a map, which looked easy to follow, however the next morning (I was glad I bought the Jordan Pass before leaving the states, I saved a ton of cash not having to pay to get in again) I found him in the tombs and asked (hired) him to take me to see the Kubtha high place overlooking the treasury (I wanted more stories and secret places to see aka caves). More stairs, many unmarked trails that were difficult to get to (and treacherous to climb) and stories from his childhood later it was amazing to be on the cliffs overlooking the Treasury. It is an experience I’ll never forget. Especially when he and his cousin (who lives on the tip of the cliff) started playing their flutes while swaying over the cliff (check my fb page I posted a video).
Here’s a pretty good link that describes the various sections of Petra -in case you’re interested…http://nabataea.net/petra.html
I didn’t mean to ramble on, but it is one place you must experience!
