REFERENCE
A Wealth of Common Sense – Daily posting of mostly great stuff. Must read. Works at RWM, see below.
Memos from Howard Marks – Brilliant investment related writings, he has been doing it for many years. There is a long gap before each one and they are several pages long. And worth it.
Jason Zweig – Long time writer for the Wall Street Journal. Great writer and investment knowledge. Great books too. Phenomenal behavioral finance and brain related stuff that impacts finances, which I find fascinating.
Morgan Housel – He writes at the Collaborative Fund now after several years at Motley Fool. Brilliant writing talent, way beyond his years.
Above the Market – Very strong writing with behavioral finance topics mixed in.
Humble Dollar – Jonathan Clements was my favorite WSJ writer for many years. I believe he went to Citibank and now is back at WSJ along with this blog and of course his books. Pure personal finance at its finest.
Priceonomics – Love their posts going deeper into many issues spanning…many areas. And you know I like variety!
Investor Amnesia – I am a student of history. And this site is all about getting your financial history fix.
Abnormal Returns – Has been curating links for a very long time. And a trusted source of good content around the Web.
Currency Converter – This is where I go to see how much my euros are worth. And my Russian rubles too 🙂
Bogleheads – Not an official member but my heart belongs here as I have been a devoted fan/Boglehead and passionate about the passive investment indexing approach. Great forum to ask for advice. For free.
RateBrain – I like this site to see what interest rates I can get at any time.
Guide to State Taxes – You want to compare the tax picture in each state? This is it!
State Tax Agencies – You want links to each state tax agency? This is it!
80 Financial Calculators – There are many calculator sites out there, I like this one.
Devils Financial Dictionary – You know my site has a lot of humor. And this is a brilliantly funny financial directory by Jazon Zweig.
Notes:
The above are in my own humble opinion only of course!
