I just don’t have the energy to blog about anything and certainly not entertaining anyone. One of our own and dear friend, Dave (FT: Bikeguy), organizer of the Ann Arbor Art Fair DOs & presenter in the Chicago Seminars, is in Paris with his daughter and still has not posted anything to let us know he is okay and I am freaking out. Follow the latest here. I hate fucking terrorists, they must die! #distressed
John says
Sad about Paris.
First 🙂
Carl says
Really? A “First” thing-ee here about this? Eat it, John.
TBB, Just FYI, I “borrowed” your image here to post on my FB page. Grieving with all of France. please keep us posted as to the status of “Bikeguy” Dave.

The first step in recovery is laughter.
Carl says
No. First is honoring and respecting the dead. Not to mention showing a little class, which is more like what I was trying to get across.
Lemme know if Americans were all telling jokes about the dead on 9-12-2001, Dia.
Your argument is invalid.
ABC says
Carl, you have reading comprehension issues.
Nobody suggests make any jokes about dead people.
TravelBloggerBuzz says
Easy everyone! I am sure you all meant well. Darn absence of body language!
TravelBloggerBuzz says
Dave finally posted in FB, they are just fine and heading to London later today, a day earlier.
Carl says
Glad to hear some good news. Glad they are safe.

Well Boss finally remembered to use your Amazonian link to order a new cell phone and miscellaneous items. Not much but at least a show of support, hope it all goes through as intended. (???) I searched it out then remembered, so opened up your link in incognito browser used for reading TBB ( En Ess A may be reading this), logged into Amazon where items were in cart already. So I hope it worked.
Hope everyone has a great weekend.
TravelBloggerBuzz says
No need to “search it out”, just come here and click on the ugly/bronish/goldish Amazon banner at the right top of the TBB home page and you are there 🙂
And thank you!

I feel much sadness for the city of Paris right now. I spent a lot of time there when I was younger and it’s tough to imagine something like this happening in this place. I am also really pissed! I hope these pricks responsible pay dearly and then some.
TravelBloggerBuzz says
Don’t get me started man….pissed is an understatement. I keep hearing about how good the French security forces are and all I can think of is…WTF! How can they let this happen, kept in the dark pretty much. How can you get all these AK-47s and suicide vests and coordinate with so many fucking terrorists & locations is beyond me! Anyways, these ISIS mother fuckers is a special breed of ultra filthy scum…makes Al Fuckida dudes seem tame in comparison….which is a remarkable thing to just type it out like this….What is even more concerning is that it appears, so far, that two of the virgin seeking lowlives may have come through a Greek island as part of the mega refugee waves. Which complicates things for the Europeans even more….because they were not complex before huh! I see LePen is barking already trying to take advantage.
I am just numb….Not sure what the answer is when assholes are willing to blow themselves up…I support. Obviously, the whole Syria strategy needs to be rethought. I always believed that in messed up places like this, you have to go with the asshole you can live and work with. In this case, temporarily, it may be…Assad. I can’t believe I just said that but maybe the answer is to help him crush ISIS on the ground with the world’s air power and special ops.
It’s just messed up man…All these innocents, out for a concert or eat at a restaurant in a beautiful city.
Andy Shuman says
Blame games are useless. If anything, these assholes are very low tech. You pull up in a vehicle to any theater, cafe, or restaurant and just walk in like a knife in the butter. Or you shoot out through the window. Or you start pouring on the street. Let’s not kid ourselves, we would’ve been every single bit as helpless as the French under the circumstances.
TravelBloggerBuzz says
I respectfully disagree!
Yes of course if it was ONE incident/location, of course!
The coordination of what they did and catching everyone totally sleeping tells me all the accolades the French security forces have been getting were way too generous.
I am specifically talking about the simultaneous timing of the several locations…how did they communicate all that, via pigeons?
Thank God we have the TSA here stopping all these plots.
Was just kidding about the last one.
Still trying to come to terms with this man like all of us, so I typed it all out in my blog and made me feel a tiny bit better…well, not really but still.
Peace to all.
Adam K says
Agree with you Assad sentiment. Keep your friends close, keep your enemies closer! Assad is a horrible human being, but at least the world knows what he is. If he’s ousted who fills that void? Most likely something more extreme and complex. Look at Libya… Gadaffi was the same way, and now the country is no better off… There are plenty of examples like this. So fucked up.

I’m going there with the old lady over Thanksgiving….
TravelBloggerBuzz says
I would still go at that time….but would not go in the next week. Enjoy. Most airlines have fee waivers, in case you change your mind.
Mike says
No need to “search it out”,
Sorry to bring the subject back to Buzz’s kickbacks, but when I said search it out, I meant it was a bit tricky to find the particular item I was looking for, as its specs are unique for use with Google Fi. If you get the wrong phone, it no workee. So yeah easier for me to look it up with regular google search engine is what I was talking about.
OK just trying to break the tension here ! ! !
Will says
Hi George sorry I have been away for so long. Have you heard anything from your friend?
TravelBloggerBuzz says
Yeah, they are fine. Left a day early for London.
