We have a decent new card from PNC. One certain thing in this hobby is that if a credit card has an affiliate link attached to it you will hear about it a HELL of a lot more from the mega pumping machines, errrr, bloggers.

If you wanted to read a good post about all them new Citi Thank You card protection benefits and not get attacked by blue affiliate links, read this post. If you care about it. Never such marginal news got so much play from the Titan blogs. They would not even write about it at all if they could not be shoving at your face more affiliate links attached to these cards.

Okay, maybe I have a problem. It’s been an issue with me. Long time readers know. It makes me feel better getting out of my system what I think. Like I wanted to shove that taco salad all over Trump’s pathetic hair and scream out loud “I love psychos”. Or something like that.

I wonder how the news that the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau is proposing the end of forced arbitration will affect dealing with banks. This includes credit cards. Time will tell…as always.

The 2016 Freddie Award winners. If you care. I don’t. Why? Because it is a mega photo and cross marketing set up and, besides, how credible is it really when Marriott Rewards always wins every year, WTF!

Screw the Hyatt Vendome! How about a hotel for the dead! Hmm, you really do NOT want to get the upgrade here you guys! Oh shoot…REFUSE any status match! I wonder what lounge access really means. (Macabre) LOLs!

Ok, lets get more weird. When I started this blog I had several links about a fascinating topic: sex with robots. Needless to say the movie Ex-Machina was one of my favorites in recent years, highly recommended. Anyways, Financial Times had this interesting article I really enjoyed. Hey, it’s my blog, you don’t have to read it! Prospects of sexual relationships with robots poses moral dilemmas. Yeah, really! When Amazon brings them up for sale, I will go on a massive selling spree it will make selling the CSP look amateurish. Hehe #notreally. Okay, this next one is absolutely hilarious—>entertaining: Angel turns out to be inflatable sex doll. Mega woohoo material, there is a picture of the “angel”. Oh the humanity…what is it turning into?

Personal Finance fix of the day: Financial Gaslighting. An absolute destruction of hedge funds. I loved it. Must read! There is a lot of wisdom in this post. You are welcome. Loved the ending:

Hedge funds are thus the perfect investment vehicle in the age of Trump – selling “luxury” to people with no concept of value. Effective “gaslit” marketing consistently gets the job done for hedge fund managers. Reality simply doesn’t matter.

    I saw Freddie and Dreamers when they opened for Herman’s Hermits in New York. Great, high energy fun.

    So I have a suggestion-why not have TBB give out awards each year to the programs, blogs and concepts that swept our imaginations away during the year, or did the best job of screwing their customers (getting close to angry there), or just violated every principle of common decency to sell us a credit card or two (there he goes).

    Now I know what you’re thinking: How can TBB afford to give out so many awards? Well, we won’t have real awards you hold (or stroke) in your hand, just a nod for an exceptional ‘job well done’.

    Of course, we’ll need a name for the awards. Lots of ideas come to mind. How about the Laurel and Hardys?

    Program of the Year — Marriott Hotels – Marriott Rewards -> huh?

    Best Elite Program — Starwood – Starwood Preferred Guest -> huh?

    Best Elite Program — EL AL – Matmid Club -> WTF???

    And yeah, I know, there is a lot of love for SPG, but a program where Gold means practically nothing is not a good program. Then you should call the category Best PLATINUM Elite Program.
