The CSR frenzy just keeps rolling, we bring you the best websites for travel deals, we spot you a pink dolphin, we bring you donkeys, more on how to spend your 100k UR points, visit North Korea again, and lots more trying to fulfill the mission of this blog.
TBB Blog Mission: To Entertain. Educate. Inspire. In That Order!
You know this hobby is in the big leagues now when you get mainstream media to keep pounding on the Chase Sapphire Reserve card. You get mentions of us churners, “word of mouth” for this new card, sure don’t get all the millennials hype for this card, and at the end of the clip you hear mentions of even more startups working on, cough, helping you pick and optimize travel rewards. Anyone remember that Wallet App at Frugal Travel Guy which recommended to a newbie looking for one cash back card to apply for seven travel rewards credit cards in ONE day? Serenity now, serenity now…
Frequent Miler is 5 years old. Wow, how time flies! Undoubtedly, the blog with the best affiliate link policy by far! At the same time, reading through the past five years only made me sad to see all these deals go poof…
Good recap of what you can do with 100k Chase Ultimate Rewards points after getting the Chase Sapphire Reserve. Maybe I should stop by at a branch again to see if we are pre-approved, new month and all…Remember, the card is available with my links, I ‘ll spare you the red arrows…In addition, while there, you can always find the Barclays Arrival Plus card as well which, suddenly, has now returned with a public link after missing for months!
More about the 5/24 rule guideline.
Best websites for travel deals. This is an AFAR list and it is a GOOD one for a change ๐ I use them all, except Expert Flyer because, you know, it is not freeeeeee!
Largest hotel suite in the Caribbean is at the Ritz Carlton Grand Cayman. Nice pics. Watch bloggers grab this and sell the Ritz Carlton card…not shocking!
This is what successful and happy people focus on. Not news for TBB readers ๐ Excellent!
Personal Finance post of the day: The Fundamental Attribution Error, or Why Predicting Behavior is So Hard. Okay, this is a dive into the soft side of this stuff. Financial planning, after you do it for a while, you start to get it that it does not have to do with numbers as much as you think…it is all about behavior modification!
Some photos of North Korea’s capital. The fascination continues…
Eight of the world’s most unusual libraries. Maybe I should sponsor a donkey and use it for charity to generate more clicks like The Points Guy Inc. does…
Rare Pink Dolphin Spotted in Lake Calcasieu, Louisiana. Amazing! Tell me which blog brings you a donkey and a pink dolphin in the same post huh?
Never forget what the hobby is all about with these blogs lol. So sick of this bag selling crap! TBB does not kiss ass and doesn’t care about clicks, my mother still loves me…I don’t care about my mother in law but please don’t tell ๐
My daughter at Sleeping Bear Dunes near Traverse City Michigan, we call it Up North! It was good to go back again after a while.
And I leave you with this….When you are in the doghouse…
Please help bloggers you appreciate & make a positive difference in your life by spreading the word about their blogs, emailing and commenting and using their few $ links, thank you!

Reading today’s post, I wondered if that library that used to be a Walmart still sells money orders. (I need to go back and read that happiness article again).

Enjoy JAL, I was kind of turned off by them….maybe my expectations were too high.
You hear about the CSR for two reasons: it is the best travel rewards card AND it pays $$ ๐

The inbound from NRT is better than the outbound from ORD, specially the catering. Ate a lot of sea urchin.
they walk by every 5 mins, and shows up 10 seconds after pressing the call button. Like all Japanese they are over the top nice.
CX and EY apt are still my favorites.
