Hello!
Happy Saturday, I hope you and your family will have a great holiday weekend. We are at the river, I plan to grill lobsters and steaks later tonight. Now, we are off to a 40 mile morning ride.
Cheers,
PedroNY

Did 15 miles on my bike yesterday…to relieve my right calf which malfuctioned last Sunday at mile 11 run (was aiming for record 17). Rested it for three days, ran 3 miles Thursday…still painful. Runner friend says I must rest it until pain free…it could take a while…so incredibly frustrating. I was starting to have visions of finishing a marathon, so sad!
Lobsters and steaks…sounds great! I have not grilled lobsters yet. Maybe next year #lifegoals
Will do some grilling tomorrow, probably last one for the summer before taking grill inside.
Picking up boy tonight from airport, internship is over. Full time job offer after graduation secured. Can’t wait to learn all about this company’s benefits 🙂
Enjoy!

@TBB my GF got into the running thing and rapidly ramped up the number of miles as you seem to have done. Ended up sidelined a long time and with muscle problems. The PT people told her to slow it WAY back, take the increasing slow and gave her many exercises.
Please study up on the marathon training and shoes and everything. I’d hope to see you run a marathon but next year is plenty of time to give yourself time to heal the leg and get into a good training program besides just running. Think INterval training, heartbeat training, etc.
Rooting for you from here!

Whatever you do, Buzz, don’t guve up. Your running (and regular updates here) have inspired me. I haven’t run a mile in 15 years but I am slowly working up to it. (Still too chubby to torture my knees that way yet).
Anyway, even your injury has been good (for me) because it’s a reminder to take it slow.
Keep it up!

Same friend warned me I was going way too fast…I should have listened!
As I was biking yesterday I passed several runners and felt so bad I was not running…
Who knows if I surpass the 42 mile weekly record ever again!
I need to read more on the marathons and training thing. I have been doing pushups every day. Started with 30, then 40, then 50, then 60, now at 70 (twice @35) EVERY day when I started this whole fitness thing the day of my physical back in late March.
Going to build the running base so to speak before ramping up again. I just hope I am ready for the soccer season on Sept 9…as our 2nd best player went down with ACL, sad!
Having difficulty processing that I am inspiring 🙂

Time to write the judge in support of our Buzzer. I say he can do work release on any day he posts on TBB:

Remember that story about Google and Mastercard the travel thought reader posted after it was first seen here (I think it was ABC?).
Well, Doctor of Credit, predictably, HT’ed his idol Gary.
Doctor of Credit, at the next update of the TBB Blogs I Like list, will be GONE! Decision is final.
Has Gary posted the story about the lap dance aboard a plane story yet? With the video? Not yet? Shocking! Waiting…Three…Two…One

Yep, banishing Doctor of Credit will certainly teach him a thing or two; NOT. That’s the kind of thing Trump would do, George, don’t follow in those footsteps. DoC publishes a lot of good content, and I’ve received some good information from that site; to “punish” him for a minor infraction of your rules of conduct seems juvenile, in my opinion, and won’t keep me from reading and re-reading his info. Please rethink your decision. Had he come out and slammed you or your blog, that would be sufficient reason for banishment, but I think your decision is poorly thought out. Take the high road, Amigo.
