The name of the series is annoying. Brandon keeps asking! And who is Brandon? Anyway, the guys at Milenomics are doing a pretty good job lately and in this post they talk about bank bonuses. I used to do them but my threshold of pain (as in doing the work vs payoff) has been going higher and higher. Now it is at $500 and up. And of course it varies based on the hassles involved, etc. For $750 as Huntington Bank targeted me a few years ago…yeah I am in!

For the record: I have never held a real gun on my hands in my life. Not even my father’s Remington! So, I clearly do not know what I am talking about….not really, but lets just stay with that thought.

“Hilton Commits to Growing Its Portfolio of All-Inclusive Resorts.” interesting that they are working with the same company as Hyatt worked with to launch Zilara and Ziva . As much as the thought of all-inclusive places goes against my travel philosophy, I actually stayed at the Hyatt Zilara in Cancun. The food was great, lots of selections and everything was perfectly fine. I even found time to read The big short and watch Brazil lose 1-7 against Germany. In short, a great place to relax for a few days.
I doubt Hilton will make this affordable. One CC bonus=one FREEEEEEE night?
That epic game. It was like having an out of body experience. The Brazilians were in such a deep funk it was hard to describe…Or imagine!
I am getting fed up with all the BS from the hotels. Just when I was thinking about getting the Aspire card and just go all in on Hiltons (and canceling my Amex Platinum card…which I still may do eventually)…they reminded how brutal they can be. And don’t get me started about being transparent…Airbnb will be seeing more of me going forward. Unless it is totally free 🙂 At this rate, the pumping bloggers will be screaming “Stay 3.5 hours at _____ hotel for free!” by clicking on these three cards lol.
Burning Question:
Applying for an Amex cc you get that box saying you are not eligible. Applicant never had the card before but did have some card activity. Does box mean no go for the signup bonus? Or do they have this pop up to have an excuse to turn down signup bonus eventually?
Man, it is so hard getting to ten conversions! Am I being hypocritical? I don’t think so! Lol.

I think it is going to be okay. Just spent time with the chat and phone agents and I got at least one with her name and ID # telling me I will get it and “thanked me in advance”. ability to exchange without costs. Using the new FlexPerks real time system
to pay for the tax is neat. I presume it will work to bring in a guest to the Delta
lounge but I’ve not tried yet.

I also want to send a shout out to my cool son for getting an Amex Gold Delta card. Getting paid for own familia cards is one of the SWEETEST things about my blog, I admit it!

I woke up at 4 am today due to early am client meeting. And I ran 4 miles in the afternoon. Don’t do that, it got too freaking hot! Missed PR by 7 seconds, damnit!
And this market just keeps going up, can’t explain it sometimes. And how about that weed stock. Crazy high times, enjoy them as long as they last. Same goes for my blog lol.
I’m looking at trying to book ANA RTW flights for my wife and I for next year. I’ll probably start working on it in about a month, so I’m looking for any relevant pointers as well. Otherwise, I’ll be happy to share any gems of insight that I garner.
