I REALLY like posting travel related stuff from destinations you almost never see around in blogs. And this one definitely applies here. Please, no political commentary needed here, lets leave it for never ending Trump bashing lol.
I think this is the first blog post I see from this place…I can’t believe they have a museum there! Of course totally dominated by anti Israel propaganda stuff. Other than looking at some of the bunkers they use, I really liked the 13th century Sidon Sea Castle.
What I Learned About Life at My 30th College Reunion
This one reached out and touched me. So to speak. What I meant to say it spoke to me. Maybe because my 30th college reunion is…next year, holy crap! Maybe younger lads will not get this. If you are over 45…I think you will. And you will find yourself nodding your head non stop!
I picked some from the top 30 things the author learned:
No one’s life turned out exactly as anticipated, not even for the most ardent planner.
Many classmates who are in long-lasting marriages said they experienced a turning point, when their early marriage suddenly transformed into a mature relationship. “I’m doing the best I can!” one classmate told me she said to her husband in the middle of a particularly stressful couples’-therapy session. From that moment on, she said, he understood: Her imperfections were not an insult to him, and her actions were not an extension of him. She was her own person, and her imperfections were what made her her. Sometimes people forget this, in the thick of marriage.
A life spent drinking too much alcohol shows up, 30 years later, on the face.
For the most part, the women fared much better than the men in the looks department. [Noticing this…why is that??]
When the bell atop Memorial Church tolled 27 times to mark the passing of 27 classmates since graduation, we all understood, on a visceral level, that these tolls will increase exponentially over the next 30 years.
Those who’d lost a child had learned a kind of resilience and gratitude that was instructive to all of us. “Don’t grieve over the years she didn’t get to live,” said one of our classmates, at a memorial service for her daughter, Harvard class of 2019, who died last summer. “Rather, feel grateful for the 21 years she was able to shine her light.”
Love is not all you need, but as one classmate told me, “it definitely helps.” [As is..clicking on my links lol…sorry, could not resist!]

The one I am really familiar with is #96 RuneScape. My son was obsessed with it. And he had tricked me somehow and was actually paying to use it. Oh man, was I mad! We had some legendary fights disagreements about proper usage of computers and gaming in general. He says now it really helped him. Maybe it did I must admit…
