I transferred out 50k Amex Membership Rewards points to 70k British Airways Avios. With the 40% bonus going on. And I did it twice in two of our accounts. I have more but I am holding on for now, hoping for a Delta transfer bonus.

1. Milenomics (Sam) is a good guy with a unique take on many things. Worthwhile, though I don’t pay for the WSJ so a podcast? Well, #notsureyet. Certainly better than paying Cramer for investment advice.
2. There used to be one Continental flight a day to St. Johns from Europe that few knew about. Ben found it by staring at the flight map screen on a plane (while drinking Krug?). Maybe it is still going.
3. On boarding passes; Does Alitralia even exist anymore?
4. True story about the “Big Day”. My adult son said that he didn’t know what plans we had for our funerals, service, party or whatever. He said “What do I do if the phone rings and someone says you’re dead?”.
