We start off today’s TBB post with the one and only Chris Elliott who is contemplating (no joke!) becoming a loyalty program advocate to push plastic for da $$$ LOL, marvel at a mountain photographer’s pictures, scratch our heads about another photographer’s specialty of crashed airplanes, enjoy the reasons we love investing, learn about the state tax advantages of College 529 Plans, and end with the most egregious examples of blog posts that made it into the uniquely refreshingly pure TBB Blog Buzz. Word 🙂

Okay I got a lot of flak for adding a Credit Card tab which was well deserved. Not that it has made any difference… Anyways, as you all know, the “consumer advocate” Chris Elliott joined Boarding Area and has already tasted da money from the credit card ads and now, as predicted here at TBB, is “asking” a question to his readers in this blog post titled “Now What?” whether to morph into a, please prepare to laugh hysterically, “airline and loyalty program advocate” so he can sell more credit cards because, as he says, the money is really good. I may have lost some credibility here with you guys for adding the tab but this guy is surely in a category all by himself.
I am a Mountain Photographer From Poland. Here’s What I Have Captured So Far – Bored Panda Amazing photos of magnificent mountains!
A Photographer Quit His Job To Document The Aftermath Of Isolated Plane Crashes Around The Globe Talk about a photo specialty, WOW! Incredible and creepy pictures of airplanes that crashed and just…left there to rot.
Why I Love Investing – Motley Fool Right on again, I like this writer a lot. But the MF moronic weasely ads at the end of each article do piss me off!
The Tax Benefits of College 529 Savings Plans, Compared By State – Lifehacker Great resource to be aware of.
Every Sunday we get the regular boring posts of bloggers. I understand the summary of the week posts, talk about easy filler. But what gets me is the moronic questions they “pick” to answer (sometimes with video!) that are so….lame we can figure out they were picked for only one reason (to sell credit cards) miles (pun intended) apart! Such as:
Timing Your Spending to Get the Southwest Companion Pass for ~2 Years Instead of One! – Million Mile Secrets Yes folks, this is post #123,469 on this “deal”. I guess readers here have to be bombarded because their IQ is limited or what?
Can I get both the US Airways MasterCard & AA MasterCard? – The Points Guy On video! Let me guess the answer here….That would be a….wait…thinking hard….hmmm….is this a trick question?…it is not?…waiting for it….can I buy a vowel?….Ok, I am going out on a limb here you guys….Yes?
Which Card Should You Get First: Chase Sapphire Preferred or Chase Freedom? – Million Mile Nonsense Hey, who cares really? Here are 18 credit card links. We rely on reader drive by road kill to click on them. Apparently, it must be working. Boo!
Time to Act: Here’s What to Tell Delta and United About Their New Frequent Flyer Programs – View From The Wing Lol. Are we getting a little paranoid here or what? Fighting for the right to Krug in a flat bed until the last breath! Screw it man, just pump your Top 10 Credit Cards tomorrow…it’s a new month. Hooray!
When Should I Get the SPG Amex Card to Maximize the Bonus? – The Credit Guy Ummm, really? Is this an actual question or are you just making them up now? Blah blah blah….right now! Waiting for an answer to say “Do NOT apply for a credit card NOW”. LOL…yeah riiiiight. Do not tolerate this crap, stay away and give the clicks to bloggers who deserve it! FIGHT BACK!
American Express Offers For You Plus Cyber Monday = Great Deals! – Points, Miles & Martinis Are these guys for real? They copy some Amex Offers that have been blogged to death elsewhere and then they have the guts to just list TEN Amex affiliate credit card offers. That’s it. Excuse me while I go barf right NOW!

Great News!!!!! Just wanted to share the great news with my fans. I was recently cast in the lead role of THE WORLD ACCORDING TO GLEFF. This BLOCKBUSTER movie should be out in the summer of 2015. For the record, I have no idea if this news is related in any way to Robin Williams recent suicide.

According to Kim Kardashian it takes 15-20 selfies to get a good sexy pic . I can only imagine how many it takes in the 1st class bathroom on CX. You’ve been warned.

“I understand the summary of the week posts, talk about easy filler.”
I agree, George; yet I have been contemplating adding that to The Gate.
Why?
Well, I would not exactly call it “easy filler” as articles from the past week have to be searched and linked — no, that is not difficult either — but there are times where I post an article at BoardingArea, not knowing that several other articles are being posted simultaneously, meaning that exposure on the front “page” might be unexpectedly minimal at best where readers may otherwise miss that article I wrote.
What are your thoughts on this?
By the way, I apologize for not posting here in the Comments much recently. You can blame Ramsey for my “return” here:
