Travel Codex gets into more details on the weird structure of Alaska Airlines and its awards available with it. I still say this airline gets taken over sometime in 2016. No, I bet nothing on it, I only “bet” when I am 100% sure I will win! 🙂
If you are going to Las Vegas by December 31 and staying at the Venetian or the Palazzo you can get up to 12,500 IHG Rewards points if you register first HERE.

Strangely, they are both robots, I’ll take the one on top, I hope she is good-natured.
So Chase UR points can be turned into Avios Points ? ? ? Didn’t know that, I wonder how long it takes to convert them over ? I saw that about the flights to Europe but too much going on right now to plan anything, oh well maybe next time.
Iguazu Falls, I’m way overdue to see them.

That was me ^

@Mike – British Airways is a transfer partner of Chase Ultimate Rewards. BA is also a partner of AA and AS. Conversion is instant in 1,000 point increments.

Mike-
You gotta hit the books on this stuff. Go over to FT and start reading Wikis and well-written posts that explain how the programs you’re interested in work.
Transferring Ultimate Reward points to BA can make sense if, for example, you need a few more Avios to book an award soon. Otherwise, there are better uses for those UR points. Do not transfer on spec-do it as the second step to redeeming an award. The first step is: research.
Trust me that reading up is crucial. If I had spent this kind of time on English literature, I could have written Hamlet. Instead, I’m a regular here on TBB wiriting “Out, out damn troll”.

Thanks again Gentlemen, so the wikis on FT is where to start, I’m there.
