Navigating the Landscape of Airline Loyalty Programs in 2015 – Travel Codex Pretty good summary of where we stand…
Retention Bonus Rules & Tips For Each Card Issuer – Get More Than One Bonus Each Year – Doctor of Credit Interesting approach on how to go about this with the different banks. I certainly do not push this as much as it appears I could. Maybe this will give you some ideas.

35 Places You Should Visit While The Euro Is At An 11-Year Low Hey, it is time for Europe this summer. Just avoid Switzerland and you ‘ll be all right lol.

The Cost Of Living In Every Part Of The World In One Infographic Very interesting.
Stop thinking of your home as an investment – MarketWatch I so agree with this.
How Investment Advice Is Like Medical Advice – Motley Fool I agree with this too! Especially this brilliant quote “Advice that sounds complicated — chart patterns, trends, Greek symbols, market timing — is often more valued than basic advice that is far more important, like saving your money, investing for the long term, and reducing costs.”
I need some ideas to brainstorm to get writing juices to flow. Bonus? May allow more time to TBB! Anything to share on these two questions please comment. I need to take something and extend it to 300 to 500 words (challenging!)
Tell us about a time when you (or a family member) taught your child an effective lesson about money.
What is one (or more) ways parents and students can cut their college costs, but usually don’t?
Crazy ending to the Green Bay – Seattle game, wow! For a moment there I thought the Packers were the…Detroit Lions lol.
Posting will be irregular from now on. And shorter posts. Folding and taking the looooong way to do it haha.
I have deleted all 131 blog posts in my Blog Buzz section…just got buried by them. Life is too short to be dealing with these nice pumping assholes. I am taking my own advice to ignore them. Perhaps you should too. You can help prove pumping does not pay (and no I would not take that bet….it is what it is. Kind of sad actually but hey focus on what you can control and don’t let your friends and family fall for their crap. And SPEAK UP!)
Have a great week!

Today’s fare class mixup between AA and US will certainly help get you to Europe! Pretty sure I’m not first anymore…

Got the family trip done last week. This is the summer we invade Europe! Because we are number one and you were not by just one minute!

Pump like a Titan in the front….Don’t be a Tool at the back.
I should place this order and start pumping them Tshirts 24/7 here. Finally TBB finds monetization Gold…or I better say Swiss franc. Definitely not Bitcoin lol

Keep giving your login data to third parties like award wallet and watch the security breaches increase :p
State University College of Malibu Adjacent says
Award Wallet is the only way we’ll catch the breaches of our accounts quickly. I check every balance every day thanks to them. No way I’d check every frequent flyer account so often otherwise and you could drain my balance and I’d never know it!

You both make great points. If I did not have AW I would not be alerted to some lowlife scammer who clearned out my Hilton HHonors account last year.

Great to see that my post for Doctor of Credit made it to TBB. I feel my pulse rising! Glad to see it, but I could not imagine doing this gig daily. Makes me appreciate what you do even more.
Cheers,
PedroNY

I did NOT notice that it was your post, nice job!
I can not imagine doing this gig so long after I started it. Especially after I log in to find out how much it brought me and being demoralized. I think you made more than me so far this month. If it wasn’t for reader R who got a credit card I would be asking the Doc for a job lol

If it showed up here I would have posted that PedroNY. I can give you that day’s revenue…heck I ‘ll give you the whole week. Or how about a personal finance tip…here is one:
Buy Low. Sell High!
🙂
I wish the bloggers would shut up about this new amex targeting thingie allowing UA & AA ticketing w/ MR points or they would kill another deal…can’t trust these guys 🙂

Regarding “Stop thinking of your home as an investment “, who thinks it’s an investment (except in the middle of a bubble)? The long term trend (100 years) for housing prices has been flat. Housing in the US is a lifestyle choice and a form of forced saving.

TravelBloggerBuzz says
This was of course more prominent during the bubble days. But you still see lots of rationalization when making real estate decisions. Especially when it comes to “investing” in the home. Like those fancy counter tops will be an investment and you will get all your money back when you sell 🙂
Amazingly, you still hear ads on the radio about “the secrets to flipping houses” come to my seminars. Pimping never stops everywhere 🙂
Scott says
Well here in Portland, I think the bubble is back. There are houses in my neighborhood that are selling in less than a day with a half dozen offers and $20,000-$30,000 beyond the asking price.
.Constipated in Portland says
Scott everyone wants to move to Portland. I would like to thank all the folks escaping California for turning the I-5 commute into a parking lot and make housing almost unaffordable for my kids to live.

Every time I see “Constipated in Portland” I just can’t stop laughing!!!
