For all of you who got the 100k Platinum card here is how to maximize the value of it. Mrs. TBB does not travel for work so, believe it or not, she never had it before. Until now, she I just could not resist. The airline gift card pile is now just absolutely ridiculous. Life is so hard sometimes lol.
If you wondered why so many bloggers pump affiliate links non stop, perhaps this is the reason! It will explain why readers told me they helped me out and never saw that come across, boo!! And for the 100k, Dan’s deals was barely a report about it. At least a third place effort.
Yeah, I should have said something, sorry I have no help around here, can’t keep everyone happy! Lots of good stuff has generated in Dan’s Deals, I used to lurk a lot in there. It all happened so lighting fast. Still no feedback on me taking the time to see which of the Titans in my Ignore List still did not bother to inform their readers about the 100k offer, wow. The FTG dude was pumping the Simply Cash card that day because, you know,conversions=money.
Clueless.
That link has been passed around the DD forums for 6 months.
Then it was posted publicly by a DDFer, but people still begged to keep it private. A day later the Redditor took it from there and posted it and as soon as that happened I made a post on the card.
And nonetheless I got roasted on DD and DDF for even daring to post the long secret link.
And I get roasted because I didn’t post it sooner or try to kill it harder.
I’ve pointed out this catch-22 before to no avail, but you can’t have it both ways. Do you want deals to remain secret or do you want them posted?
Either way I know I’ll have my haters out in full force.
