We show you how to perhaps get more Membership Reward points with the Amex Extended Payment Option and get a too close and personal account straight from the epicenter of the Nepal earthquake!

This is going to be a very short post. I am only doing it to stop my Alexa ranking numbers from going down further lol.
I received a mailing by American Express on my Business Platinum card telling me I can earn 10,000 Membership Reward points if I enrolled into the Extended Payment Option. Of course all credit card balances are paid when the statement clears, we NEVER carry balances in this hobby, NEVER EVEH!!! This promo comes and goes. The URL on the mailing is: americanexpress.com/openpayovertime36
It worked like a charm for me and looking forward to another 10,000 MR points! Your mileage will certainly vary. You can give it a shot, do that incognito geronimo thingie you do with your browsers. Good luck!
Not sure if you were aware but blogger Wanderlusty was right in the middle of the huge earthquake in Nepal and has been blogging/tweeting about it. Make sure you read all four parts. It is an amazing account of what he experienced. One of my bucket list items was to climb Mount Everest but now I am not so sure. You can call me chicken but I like to be a live chicken! Another totally wild thing that happened was this: One of my Greek high school class mates was in a team to be up in that mountain during the earthquake but their Nepalese guide scammed them and run off with their money, wow! So they all returned pissed off. Now they are not as pissed off anymore. Wow, thanks to phucking scammer that is #mindblown I remember many earthquakes growing up in Greece. I can still remember my mother screaming “Get out, get out” and me flying down the stairs to get to the yard #goodtimes
Facebook has a feature that can help with natural disasters. I think it is awesome indeed!
And this is how you can help Nepal right now!

I’m not sure I would agree with that blogger’s final point about getting yourself out. While that might be the decision he made for himself, another able-bodied person might try to help the victims of the tragedy. Just a thought. Speaking from experience–I became an instant nurse’s aide with no prior training during a disaster just because I happened to be there and my services were direly needed (anyone could have done it, I took direction the whole time, I was no hero). But everybody’s gotta do what’s best for them.

It is what it is, I would probably do the same if I was in his position. I see your point too. Thanks for taking the time to comment here.

The Amex points from the extended payment option never post for anyone that wasn’t targeted.
TravelBloggerBuzz says
I have gotten them before when I was not targeted. It was a while ago. It’s a crap shoot. Ya never know. Worth a try for 10k MR pts.

Speaking of crap shoots, it’s been a long time since I last saw a toilet bowl pic in a travel review blog post. Well done Buzz, you are making the blogging world a better place. God Bless You….

I think part of your Alexa problem is that you keep telling everyone you are quitting and then not quitting. I know I stopped coming to the site when you wrote you were done. Then I came back today and saw tons of posts!
TravelBloggerBuzz says
I know, it is ridiculous. I am losing my credibility this way 🙂 I am trying hard to quit this part of my life…really hard. But someway somehow I keep returning to it. Can’t explain it, makes no sense. I think I like the connections, the stress relief, the laughs I get at laughing at me…
Next quit post should come in June when I take off for 3 weeks in June…
