5 Questions That Annoy Me The Most by Mile Nerd. Oh man, I could have written that. Must read imho.
You remember the announcement some time ago that Hilton was going to introduce yet another brand. Name is Canopy. Insert some WTFs. Well, finally, the first one is almost ready and it’s in Reykjavic, Iceland. Seriously?
A dashboard of all the tech glitches plaguing US Airlines. Wow.
Breaking News: I burned another 70k Delta Skymiles to fly Kuala Lumpur to Seoul on Korean Air (first time) to Detroit on Delta in Business Class. I just need to find my way there next lol. Is it me or have AA MilesAASaver awards been in super short supply or what? My first preference was to use my huge stash of AA miles but no go. I think AA CEO Parker will screw us sooner than we all expect.
Another Boarding Area blogger posted hotel corporate codes. Seriously? WTF!!!
Matador Network‘s most inspiring travel photos of the week.
Another cool video of a guy who quit his job to travel the world. The kicker here: No airplanes, WTF! I need to hire me an intern to run things while I take a year off to show these wanna bees how it is really done π

Milenerd needs some training in the art of CC pumping,
First he says “I donβt spend all this time working for free on MileNerd stuff….”
Then “.top 5 most annoying questions I get…….What credit card should I apply for?”
Here he comes up with the WRONG answer βI donβt really know. Whatever.β
How can you call yourself a blogger and not EDUCATE a reader about the chase sapphire preferred?
This is how you distinguish hobbyists from businessMEN.
Hey man quit hassling the noobs.
Those are all great questions.
Here’s another one.
Need to make an expenditure of ~20K on mom’s house. Maxed out BB last month (5K). OK I can look this up but the question on my plate is whether if mom gets an Ink and BB card, the UR miles can go into my account or I mean tfr into my United account.
Still thinking up a way to get a second ink.
No need to reply to this, just thinking out loud.
Seriously though, we need advice about which cards to sign up for. Counseling as it were. Personally I’d be willing to pay for the service, just as I am happy to pay for “award travel booking”.
Or to sign up through a great and honest website like this one.
But not from any pumpizizers ! ! !
And stop hassling the noobs ! ! !
Chase clamped down on the transfer or UR points the way you are talking about. Probably not worth the risk. Just imho
HEY BUZZ, Yesterday you said you were thinking of rebranding, did you mean taking your blogging skills in a new subject matter direction? Old Man Ingy would love that!……If so what ideas are you tossing around in that cranium of yours? Financial, Cultural, Sports, Diaper Deals or my suggestion – Photos of Hot Chicks (always include the words JAW DROPPING). Good Luck in whatever you decide……..Ciao Enrico
Enrico, so wrong !!!!! I get a giggle everyday George posts about 53, 18 or zero cents per day. I just imagine him at Panera at 6:30am thinking about the solid income streams earned by Rene, mommy, mile value, tpg, mms, lucky and fm. It’s even funnier to think about the new contract “per post” writers earning “jaw dropping” returns compared to his yield per post. As the self proclaimed critic (yeah) of the hobby he made his bed and now gets to revel in its (ahem) success each and every day.
Stay the course George. You got a winnah
Yawn
If I was FM I would be so embarrassed and ashamed to be included with all the bloggers you listed.
Lol moments at TBB = Priceless
Thank you.
Next comment please give an update about Alexa rankings…to yourself. LOL
I’m sure he would rather be listed with bloggers that don’t Beg for clicks everyday and Whine when he doesn’t get them π (and I’m sure he gets plenty with his original content)
And what’s this “We” stuff you start every post with? Why “We”? Can’t you just say>
I have copied and pasted other people’s posts for you to read here.
I am begging everyday for you to use my links
And I continue to whine in my posts and twitter about the lack of support by my readers
And as for those Alexa rankings, if there is a “We” it would fit around a kitchen table.
It is a Friday night and you are trolling here on a blog you can not stand.
What a sad existence.
Have a nice weekend.
Brilliant Comment. The sad existence is that you actually like this blog????
Same to ya. Have a nice weekend being begged to click and whined at when you don’t.
How about this tweet?
“Folks, another $0 day. Not that TBB exists to make me rich but totally ignoring me in clicks is really demoralizing. Not even one, seriously?”
Or maybe this one:
“This is how I feel pumping posts here for almost three years when I look at my revenue/time devoted to it #facepalm”
Now I call those examples JAW DROPPING commentary if I ever saw it π And you guys put up with that day in and day out? Now that is a sad existence.
you sound like a drunkard who has fallen off the wagon.
Ingy has gone senile. He just named the worst blogs for his positive examples. I’ll have what he’s drinking.
TBB is about entertainment first and foremost. Ingy’s comments are an integral part of it.
It’s all about sticking to the mission here.
Lol.
Not only he reads and comments here on a blog he can’t stand, he now reads my tweets and pastes them here.
Talk about creepy trolling.
*&%%# Comcast cable guy….hope he fixes my internet soon or they will throw me out of Panera!
Hate Halloween???…. I do!… Don’t feel like answering the door for the 300 kids that are coming to your house tomorrow night?….. Don’t want to blow $30 on candy? ….. Here is how we avoid all this at the Enrico Palazzo home…..prior to 6 pm when the kiddies come out to mooch, place a large waterproof bowl or container out by the front door along with a large sign saying PLEASE TAKE ONE …… Now leave the bowl empty, everyone will think some gluttons took all the candy. Now close the blinds, turn off ALL the lights, and go into the bedroom and watch the Mets in the World Series…..Ciao Enrico
Hahaha love it! Great idea Enrico, too bad the mets are going to lose though.
Tv7 I am sure you are right. I just loved seeing all those Dodger fans cry. The Cubbies and Mets will be rivals for the next few years. I am just happy the Metsies made it this far! KC is an awesome team. Mets Amazing Young Pitchers will be fun to watch for years to come. Too bad Bernie Madoff’s pals, the Wilpon’s are too cheap to spend money on talent. Ciao Enrico
I like the large waterproof bowl idea! Maybe add to the sign “smile for the camera, you don’t want to end up on youtube, do you?” hehe
Thanks Buzz ! ! !
De nada.
If you ever click on any links at Frugal Travel Guy you will be banned here.
Just kidding. I know you know better by now π
Since our favorite troll dropped in to provide some of his pleasant wisdom, I went over to his credit card app gathering site to see what he’s been up to.
Not good times, folks. Nothing yet on how to get to the next Super Bowl on miles and points.
I did see a trip report where he paid $30 to get a car load into a National Park. A reader soon asked the World Expert why he didn’t just buy the $10 senior pass that gets you and your group and your car into any National Park for $10. That’s pay $10 once for the rest of your life. Which for some people could be a long time.
Then there was the trip to see the ballons in Albuquque. Travel writing really draws me in when it makes you feel like you were there:
“Katy got to do some shopping in Old Town for whatever stuff it is she bought.”
“People dress differently, wear their hair differently and have different shoes in the Southwest than they do in the Southeast. Iβm not making any judgments here, just noting the differences based on local custom.”
No, he’s just saying that there is a difference, but not describing it at all. Bill Bryson can sleep well.
Lots of scary visitors on Halloween. Some are tricks, some are treats. And some are just yawns.
Back on ignore.
Been on Ignore for a long long time…
fun post by mile nerd. if he wants something really annoying he should read the comments on blogs.
Indeed!
I’ve made it a point on Flyertalk not to criticize friends. So when I see George and Rick go at it, I imagine the famous SNL segment when Dan Ackroyd plays Nixon in the missing 18 minutes tape skit. He was saying all sorts is serious things, while laughing as he covered the mike.
I imagine in my own SNL world that Rick and George are having a good laugh.
A guy can dream can’t he?
You can dream.
I am laughing.
Rick is reading my blog, my comments, my tweets and my Alexa rankings and dishes out stuff here because “if you have nothing good to say, don’t say it”. Or however that thing goes.
I am still laughing π
Have an awesome week!
