ON MY MIND
This post will be very short as the weekend is pretty much dead in the blogoshpere. The one thing I found was a must read is this TBB guy’s post titled “Miles & Points Earning: Is it the best of times or the worst of times?”. Thanks for all the kind words. For some reason readers liked this one a lot based on the supportive emails I received! I am flattened flattered.
Don’t forget to watch Michigan take on Louisville in the NCAA Tournament final. I ‘ll be watching, go Blue!
MILES/POINTS
Well, nice to see Chase adding another airilne transfer partner in its Ultimate Rewards program: Virgin Atlantic. Not a big deal. But still, the move is symbolic to make us all a little happier after so many repeated devaluations we have suffered.
TRAVEL
An absolutely stunning HD video about New Zealand Landscapes Timelapse. First seen at Gadling.
Some nice pictures from Iceland. From Barrelhopping.
Formula for becoming a millionaire travel writer. By Grumpy Traveler. See it below, mega lol!
Do you want to become rich from your travel writing? Well, here’s how to do it…
Snag a commission from a well-known publication to write a top ten list (say, top ten haunted hotels or top ten hip museums).
- When that list is published, pitch individual stories on one of the places included to as many other publications around the world as you can. Say: “It’s cool and topical – Prestigious Publication X said it’s one of the top 10 in the world”.
- Do the same for the other nine inclusions on the list.
- Repeat steps 1 to 3 for other topics.
