Ok, this is kind of crazy. The World’s First Twitter-Themed Hotel Just Opened in Spain. Some excerpts from the news release:
- Guests at the Sol Wave House Hotel in Magaluf can channel their love of social media and network with other guests without ever having to leave their room. [Party at #324, please RT!]
- The @SolWaveHouse Twitter page also allows them to keep tabs on any new visitors who have checked in, in case there is someone they would like to connect with. [ Oh, I get it now. Perfect for all shy geeks who do not have the guts to go up and introduce themselves! I see a whole lot of Private Messaging going: “Hi there, if you are lonely, come over at #269 and we can play video games wink”]
- Technophobes will be pleased to hear the hotel also encourages face to face interaction…[ I am so so pleased the hotel encourages that too #phuckingA]

Travel is Free has a totally hilarious post “The Best Credit Card Bonus Ever! Limited Time!“. It is a parody on the whole SPG Amex craziness! If you want to laugh please go read it. I really like the humor, very well done, I am very impressed! You can ghost write for me anytime, no one would know the difference;-)
Delta Points, running out of excuses to push more cards, now writes about dragging your family on a mileage run to, you guessed it, push more cards. SMH…again! Another fine example of content that will never see the light of day if it was not for, drumroll please, the suckers who click on the credit card links. Ooof!
Extra Pack of Peanuts pushed the SPG Amex card (like pretty much everyone else) leading with “Hot Deal Alert”. Pfffft! And first line is “With the increased bonus, you’d get FOUR free nights at a category 3 hotel!” Can someone tell this “expert” that you do get a fifth night free with SPG” (thanks to an alert TBB reader!). So many experts pushing plastic these days. If they could only justify their expertise!!!!
Scary headline at The Points Guy! “Chase Pulls Online Ultimate Rewards Purchases; Still Available Over the Phone – Worth it?” At first, I read it as, you know, Chase pulls Ultimate Rewards and almost had a heart attack! But don’t worry readers, you can still buy them over the phone for only 2.5 cents each. But why do that? Get bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang [substitute bang with the Chase UR earning cards]…Wow, what a brilliant move, all of us at TBB are just in awe by the cleverness of such tactics and we wonder what other angle we will see tomorrow how to get, drumroll, the SAME cards!
Pathetic post by Unroad Warrior with one of the most ridiculous headlines “Ultra Flexible Starwood Points’ Limited Time Offer”. Ultra Flexible…lol. Come on, if SPG points are ultra flexible what does that make me the Chase Ultimate Rewards points? Come up with a funny term in the comments, amuse me as much as Travel is Free did:-)
At the FlyerTalk Star Mega Do 5, nsx had this funny comment: “Seriously, it’s odd that the Mega Do is having trouble drawing attendees when FT University and similar events are overflowing. It’s almost as if the community of interest is changing from road warriors to credit card churners:-)” – Yeah, seriously…
And I will leave you with the first TBB video on youtube. I was sitting there looking at the most beautiful scenery at Lake Louise in Banff National Park in Alberta, Canada during my vacation and, “seriously” was pondering the future of TBB. I definitely do NOT have THE look of Gary Leff, I do not expect any Colbert Report TV Show folks calling me lol. I fully expect to be teased to death about this! There’s more afoot than just the recent SPG AMEX linkys. Chase must be pushing bloggers hard to pimp the BA card.
In the last two days, both Gary & Points Miles & Martinis posted almost identical content on the awesomeness of this card including the tip to spend 30K for the privilege of paying heinous fees to book the companion BA F award cert. Oh yeah, & just in case you couldn’t find one on your own, links to the card are included in the posts. So helpful!

Start manufacturing comments in your comment section and heck even get your wife to do it at work when she isn’t really busy. Start posting on everyone’s blog and their brothers and sisters while at it. Rip off deals from FT/try to become more controversial. Manufacture reader questions and turn them into blog posts and pimp away.
For the record: My wife has never posted a comment here! She reads TBB but she is a little behind now it appears. But she can sure hold the video camera still while laughing non stop:-)

Now that’s a review that Is really value added. And not even a link to a Chase Hyatt card app-True journalistic integrity.
Not sure which was first but there has been a pet bathroom-lounge at Dulles for a couple of years. I think you get two free passes with the Chase United Explorer card. Maybe with the Barclays Choice card too, since many Choice properties are real dogs.
