10 of the Best Hyatt Category 4 Hotels for Your Free Anniversary Night. I almost forgot about this last year and had to burn it in a local Hyatt Place by the mall so my girls can go shopping on…Black Friday. Don’t make the same mistake ๐
Pumping bloggers conveniently “forget” to inform their readers that Amex will not give a sign up bonus if you had the same card before. They get paid per approval so they could care less if you get the signup bonus! Don’t fall for it. Here is one simple way to check what Amex cards you have had in the past.
As $ clicks have vanished around here…I just want to gently remind readers that the 35k Amex Starwood SPG (Personal and Business) offers are available here. No arrows needed, I think you can figure it out ๐ย Here are the best uses of 35k SPG points. As always, carrying a balance is strictly forbidden! If you do, I will let the TBB drone find you and kick your ass! #beafraid

This is really helpful: Why You Shouldn’t Combine Thank You Points. Wife’s Premier and Prestige cards are nearing annual fee time and I still have not decided what to do with them points…
Apparently, Hyatt Globalists do in fact get the free night…
I have a conference in Orland0 again and I usually stay at the Four Points by Sheraton on International Drive on SPG points. But this time the conference hotel is much farther. It is at the Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate. I have never stayed at an Omni hotel before and am wondering how to stay for free as usual ๐ย Maybe it is time to use some bank points?
Apparently, Air Berlin is not dead yet. Long haul flights at least. It just announced expansion and yes maybe you can use some of your darn Avios and, gasp, AADisadvantage miles too!
I made the horrible mistake to click on the post in the middle because, me the idiot, thought I may learn something. Only to see that the first one that has not devalued is the Chase Sapphire Preferred card and the third one was, please sit down, the 40k Amex Platinum card. And that’s online marketing expertise folks!

Agreed, the scalping link was really good, thanks.
In other news, the Rio Olympic venues are crumbling and decaying. It’s puzzling to see that countries keep building all these white elephants just to host the Olympics:

Yeah, that scalping article was amazing. I could have done one on my 10 best credit cards so I can finally get a click ๐ Oh, that reminds me I still have the one monthly freebie support post, I almost forgot lol.
Many will miss the Hyatt Diamond!
I had a Brazil venue link in the queue…which has been really short lately….not sure if many blogs are just giving up along with the scarcity of anything worthy to blog about…
We are seeing loyalty being redefined and our hobby disappearing (and going way underground)…
On a more positive thought, Michigan weather has been superb!

Thanks for screen capping Gary’s miserable click bait…he’s since changed the title of the first one after getting destroyed in the comments.

I should go back and check…but I probably won’t as I have more important things to deal with…
GL to me last year: ” I have always blogged about what interests me”… I guess credit card affiliate money interest him a lot ๐
John says
I sure hope that the fact that he got destroyed in the comments is a sign that the sheeps are finally waking up about the bullshit these bloggers try to sell them.
I suspect that as long as some people who don’t know better and keep clicking on their links, they have no incentives to reduce the pumping.

I’d like to think so, but there are always so many new sheep out there ready to be led astray.
Damn love that Pegasus pilot!

Nope

I get more value from Drew’s three articles than from a year of “The Thought Leader”. Judge not by quantity but rather by quality. In any case, one could spend a year digesting all the (free) info on the Travel is Free website. He deserves a permanent position in the “Like” column based on that alone.

TIF used to be my favorite miles/points blog. It was probably linked here numerous times. It used to be in the TBB Blogs I Love list. When it slowed down a bit it was moved to the TBB Blogs I Like list and stayed there for a while. Until it…vanished without a note to readers which I thought it was unfortunate. Anyways, they finally communicate to the readers what was going on, they moved on to other things and now they post once in a blue moon. Nothing is permanent on my lists. Well, maybe Yomadic and Twisted Sifter….All I can say is that Twisted Sifter is safe ๐
Frequency of posts matter to me #hint
