Gold from the Cancun Courtyard Airport hotel restaurant eating breakfast, lunch and dinner before the travel day back to Detroit!
Very nice and convenient property. Treated with 4 bottles of water and very nice tiny chocolate pastry treat.
I think 3 nights at the Hyatt Zilara is perfect. No more.
MileageUpdate says
why in Gods name would you stay at the Cancun Courtyard Airport? WTF are you doing. I thought you were a travel guru
ABC says
Amen. At 4M points, make your wife’s life convenient and spend that extra night at Zilara.
Brenton says
If I were going on excursions or spending my whole day away, there’s no way I’d waste 25k points at an all inclusive. Hopefully that’s the case here…
TBBTheDude says
3 nights at Zilara were perfect.
Not one day more at 25k pts!
Been looking to get son to hit Marriott Gold, he needed just 1 more night. As he will do a lot if business travel in 2020 and I want him to maybe see the light and really get into this hobby. Cost $87 plus tax. With breakfast. 2k extrapts promo which unlocks another promo with next stay.
Hyatt pts are precious you guys…
We were both ready to go home. Too much food here!
TBBTheDude says
Son hitting Gold….not goonna say how…Rats are watching lol
TBBTheDude says
Also…got late checkout at 3 pm…but left Zilara around 6 pm 🙂
MileageUpdate says
thats embarassing bro. you check out of the Hyatt on the beach to stay at a courtyard at the airport in Cancun. Ive heard it all now. woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
TBBTheDude says
Dude, we are all different! We had enough beach time…I was exhibiting sun burn symptoms. Went to bed early and it was perfect! 25k Hyatt points is 3 nights at the Thessaloniki Hyatt…which is a better value.
Imho, 3 nights at the HZ is perfect. Not one night more.
Now back to 9 degrees lol

2 hotels on a 4 day vacation?…..I hate unpacking, repacking, moving and unpacking then repacking again…..I would rather overeat at the Hyatt for 1 extra day…..My wife would kill me if I made her move again on such a short trip, she would make me go out and get a job instead of fooling in my office with points all day…..That is why i am always sure to go over the top with luxury to impress her on our trips. Don’t blow your gig with the Mrs., Buzz.
P.S. UR points transfer to Hyatt and you can get them for 5X at Office Supply Stores…..see FM post on 5X everywhere…….Hyatt points are not hard to come by, so not THAT valuable
PS @ Brenton…..where do you stay in Mexico,Youth Hostels? Got Montezuma’s Revenge?
FYI ….Excursions in Mexico can be hazardous to your health. Years back a friend and new husband went to Acapulco for their Honeymoon. He did Para Sailing and back then they used to return you to land back on the beach (now they land back in the water/platform). Well they missed landing him on the beach and he landed hard on the ragged rocks instead. Dude was very, very messed up and crippled. Medical bills used up their savings and more. And of course, there was no one to sue, it’s Mexico.

Buzz-
Next time you cancel posting on a day, reverse the process. Just stop, but don’t announce it.
If a cutback is announced but never happens, does a tree fall someplace?

AA dynamic pricing awards for AA metal have arrived. Ridiculous crap like DL – 375,000 one-way biz to Europe. Hahaha

‘Fly fir free, all u gotta do is get these 23 credit cards!’
ABC says
BA suddenly looks attractive!
Raffles says
Why are there more articles moaning about Marriott cutting the 10 elite nights for holding a fake meeting (which only a handful of people bothered with anyway) vs the AA changes??

You don’t kill the goose lAAying the golden conversion eggs! Click 57 reasons click best offer ever click hurry ending soon
ABC says
Because it feels better when you abuse the system and give your firstborn GOLD status. And most of us are upset that AA shut down our accounts after churning the AA card. Who cares about a 300k AA tickets when you just lost 7 figures? Thanks Ingy for spilling the beans.
TravelBloggerBuzz says
Ingy is back at it pumping crappy referrals now and sticking it to morons who fall for his “helping friends and family travel for free”…If he only had not sold first, SAD!
