Canceled my Citi Prestige card today. And I also killed wife’s Discover card….still keeping mine and son’s, relax. Just trying to trim mental bandwidth devoted to this hobby and being very picky while allowing time to get under 5/24….And hoping to get under 3 million total balances before the next devaluation rolls around 🙂
Got two more car rental price reductions from Autoslash. But small ones. About $60 in savings from original price, not bad. Keep them slashing Autoslash!

Anyone have an idea what will Chase do with the Ink cards? Wife has a Bold and I have a Plus. We obviously hold on to them for the 5x at office supply stores…Will they product change them at some point unannounced? Will try to get the Ink Preferred soon then for the 80k bonus and somehow justify them when interrogated 🙂 I should be looking into burning instead of earning…damn it #addiction I don’t need more lol.

I finally executed on the BGI tickets. ~100k AA in coach pp R/T or using CSR, 30k UR pp. CSR is a keeper as long as it gives 1.5c/UR
Apparently the UR search engine can only find 90 % of AA tickets and most of them are in a higher fare buckets. Don’t expect to always replicate ITA or even AA.com on Chase’s search engine.I found a bunch of affordable phantom tickets that repriced every time I tried to book the tickets. I had to call and the rep was kind to book the ticket directly from AA.com. Fare code was of course different.
I have a feeling that they are using Orbitz search engine.
I still have not used any UR other than sending to United and Hyatt!
