The same guys who climbed the Shanghai Tower last year climbed the Ping An Finance Centre in Shenzhen, China. Long intro to the actual climb but some of these views from the top are completely nuts. I think these two will not have a good ending…(via Twisted Sifter).
A blog post about hotel fitness center safety from Will Run for Miles. On top of our minds with the recent death due to a freak accident of Mr. Goldberg on a hotel treadmill.

When this happens resumes are updated! Or ought to anyways ๐
Slow news and comment day… ? I suppose the DoT decision outrage did not reach the TBB newroom before this post went out ๐
Oh yes it did. Not surprised at all. I was going to say something but barfed so much after I read VFTW’s post using it as a prop to pump more plastic…yikes!
The DoT change leaves Gary Leff in an unusual spot for a libertarian: Continues to ridicule a government agency that hasn’t allowed a terrorist attack in over 13 years, yet supports having another government agency regulate fare disputes that can be handled under common law.
When was the airline industry deregulated anyway?
Gary also continues to fly on airplanes and airlines with outstanding safety records due to mandatory government maintenance and safety processes. Those planes take-off and land at publicly-owned airports, and use fuel and facilities heavily subsidized by taxpayers.
Libertarianism is for children.
Hey, are you guys reading my mind or what? Sometimes I click on an email because I am an idiot #facepalm
Hi George. Thanks for the mention. We are often so busy looking for the glitz at fitness centers, that we forget basic safety concerns.

What government agency can I write to about this? Is there an “Office of Manufactured Spending” or something under the Comptroller of the Currency?
I am so upset, I am going to sue for discrimination! ๐
