We bring you more of the recent Chase Sapphire Reserve mania, inform you what to do in Doha, show you how Global Entry rocks, visit some European villages, burn some AA miles on Iberia to Europe next summer, news on the former Dearborn Hyatt, life hacks & some funny CSR induced humor & more for YOU! You always come FIRST here and never gave a damn about the blog’s Alexa rankings. And TBB never kissed ass for clicks or promoted mass pumpers!
TBB Blog Mission: To Entertain. Educate. Inspire. In That Order!
The hype of the Chase Sapphire Reserve card is reaching absolutely ridiculous levels, OMG! Here are all the benefits. I told you this is getting insane, lol. I am afraid I got a little carried away yesterday hehe.
You want to burn some miles to fly Business Class to Europe next summer? There is available space on Iberia.
13 Incredibly Charming European Villages. Via AFAR. Typical blogger lame question to generate reader interaction and $$ from ads/page views would be: “Which one is your favorite?”. Zzzzzzzz.
For my fellow Michigan based readers. Remember the former Dearborn Hyatt? Well, guess what? It changed hands again and is now owned by a Chinese investor. Renamed now as “The Edward Hotel and Convention Center”. Apparently this latest owner will spend some money to renovate it, we shall see. There is some insane history behind this hotel!
What to do in Doha. Just in case you are passing through like I will be soon…
How to Apply for Global Entry. Just in case you have not done it yet…
Life hacks you can learn in a minute or less. Love the keyboard shortcuts and the one about changing text to upper case and vice versa, wow!
Personal Finance : How to Survive a Melt-Up. There is some excellent advice here I must admit.
More CSR insanity…Maybe this is getting out of hand? Was this you? Just kill me now!
Always fun to exchange pleasantries with fellow bloggers, you can draw your own conclusions.
And I leave you with this…I am inspired by the Olympics so much lately!
Please help bloggers you appreciate & make a positive difference in your life by spreading the word about their blogs, emailing and commenting and using their few $ links, thank you!

Just another Manic Monday. Chase style.

PFDIGEST post is cracking me up!!!
TravelBloggerBuzz says
Should it be “In Chase We Trust” instead of “In God We Trust”? hehe
TravelBloggerBuzz says
Here is the latest on the CSR:
This is the DIRECT link to it:
https://applynow.chase.com/FlexAppWeb/renderApp.do?CELL=6227&SPID=FL3P&PROMO=DF01
It appears the promo code will take care of the 100k signing bonus but don’t bitch me at me if you have problems. You may want to wait to see a landing page that states 100k if you are afraid!
Sadly, the card is subject to 5/24 #crying
The pumping bloggers are silent waiting for Chase to give them their own direct affiliate link to do what they do best: SELL credit cards!
Thanks to the readers for asking for my own link. As of 10.00 am I don’t have it. As my provider is creditcards.com (which does NOT provide direct affiliate credit card links) I have no idea when it will appear in my site.
I wish my daughter was 18 already ๐
Jay Reef says
Thanks for the Doha link. Postponed my trip for work reasons but will be there in middle of October. Clearly no CSR for me. Its OK I will lay low and burn. My data points:
CSR 7-10 business days (last week in preparation I closed BA and released $5k as well as lowered United to release additional $7k).
FlexPerk Business Olympic and received 7-10 days. This one must be waited out as well and I hope to succeed
AA Plat loophole via Pre-qualified 30k/$1k, pending further review – call in for immediate decision and scored with confirmed 30k/$1. Now I can close my AA Plat while keeping AA Plat going.
Happy Monday!
TravelBloggerBuzz says
Time to lay low…
Nice going on the others!
I Wanna Puke says
Over at DOC…Just read this comment by a TPG Writer, Holly Johnson…classless.
Holly Johnson says:
August 22, 2016 at 11:07 am
Data point: Just applied and I was denied for being 8/24. 260K income, credit score in the 800s, a ton of money on deposit with Chase and even a Chase mortgage! She said 8/24 was too much, but I would probably be approved if I was 5/24 or 4/24. She said there was no way to reconsider.
TravelBloggerBuzz says
That was a good datapoint. Funny how she makes the comment on the DOC site and not on TPG…who blogs about WOW Air today, LOL.
All the pumping Titans so dead silent salivating about their CSR affiliate link!
I Wanna Puke says
F the datapoint…..Posted this to show how insecure this blogger is and uses the internet to tell us how wonderful she is. BARF
TravelBloggerBuzz says
One day when we meet, I’ll tell you some stories ๐
And love the avatar LOL
Brian Kelly's Mansion says
Gary and Lucky posted when the link went live. Deafening silence from TPG waiting for the referral link to come out.
Even among Titans there are different levels on the Blogs to Ignore list.
spamman808 says
Referral link is out, and he’s posted it…
spamman808 says
That guy’s a joke…even Darius posted a non affiliate link. You’d think the spokesperson who Chase chose to break their official news to the world would have been on top of things.
TravelBloggerBuzz says
I think you will like my post tomorrow #hint
spamman808 says
Looking forward to it. You and PFD keep me entertained!
Andy says
Easy to see who has Chase links. The silent ones have the links,
those who write about CSR today – don’t LOL
TravelBloggerBuzz says
Exactly…
It’s just sad…
And then the travel thought leader finally says something about the CSR and does not have the guts to post the direct link to the app (no $$$) and then has the audacity to sell the Amex Plat 40k card and Ritz Carlton cards.

Then some kiss ass bloggers complain that I complain too much while linking to this dude in almost every post they make in their (_____) [deleted for foul language] blogs.
Gotta love da internet and miles/points blogging folks!
Mady says
Just now got the Reserve Approved instantly for the Mr. with a credit limit of $34,000. He was exactly at 5/24
TravelBloggerBuzz says
Mr. Mady, treat him like God tonight ๐
Congrats.
John says
Going for Global Entry interview on Saturday. What questions do they ask?
TravelBloggerBuzz says
Mine was super easy, just asking if I had all the flights noted and then spending less than 10 mins to show me how the kiosk works. I was surprised how easy it was!
Anonymous says
Do you know how to use the machine….
PedroNY says
I did not apply for any Chase cards today. Do not plan to apply for any tomorrow. That’s my data point for today. ๐ Shockingly, Marriott Biz and Hyatt were approved this year, yeah I know they are outside of 5/24, but still shocking…
Carry on!
Cheers,
PedroNY
TravelBloggerBuzz says
I intend to carry on.
Without the CSR.
Unless 100k bonus is still alive when son will go for it. But first, need to get the ^$#ing CSP to us first. they are so sloooooow!
Anonymous says
Glad I applied for the CSR last Monday. BA and DD are relative quite about CSR.
TravelBloggerBuzz says
Yeah, I am still kicking myself for not applying when that 1 hour window opened up! Proves to show you how to be fast and daring in this hobby!
It is SO ridiculously quiet in the blogs that direct links. It PERFECTLY illustrated which blogs put the reader FIRST and which blogs put the $$$$ FIRST.
Mike says
Buzz I am going to be very direct with you.
This CSR thing is confusing. The link up above, does that get you your referral commission?
Terms like direct links, affiliate, etc. are over my head and I don’t understand the ramifications.
The link you posted goes to Chase and not to Creditcards dot com, which also confuses me.
I just want to sign up and get my 100K miles and for you to get your compensation.
Can you make it so simple that someone like me can understand it?
DML says
Big red arrows would be a help.
Ryan says
And circles
TravelBloggerBuzz says
The CSR link is now available in my links. If you click the banner on the Credit Cards page, I am sure you can figure it out. Post tomorrow links to a post that explains all this affiliate link murky shit very well.
The link above in the comments goes straight to Chase, nobody gets paid.
The links that avoid that direct route that bloggers provide compensate them.
It can be VERY complicated, hopefully the post tomorrow will clear it up. And I will make it entertaining ๐
Raffles says
Assuming $300 commission, there is a decent chance a big blog could bank $1m off this by Christmas.
ABC says
You’re underestimating how many CCs folks alreafy have in the U.S. (And willing to pay $450).
TravelBloggerBuzz says
You are underestimating the vast numbers or newbies with no cards or just one or two.
You tell them 100k, two $300 credits, lounge access…I mean, why did they even bother paying bloggers to market this baby?
Bank $1m with creditcards.com? LOL
TheDude says
Affiliate links are out folks!
The CSP is available with my links as well.
If not me, no Titans please! Help small bloggers!
Mike, go ahead, no red arrows sorry, u all can figure it out ๐
TravelBloggerBuzz says
I was a beat at my soccer game tonight. 3 goals with 2 assists. And then I downed 3 margaritas at TGIFridays, we celebrated avoiding first place.
Darn blog…at times like this it is physically hard keeping you all entertained and educated…
Waiting for hater to complain I complain too much! Love this space!
