Finally, we get a decent hotel promo. Club Carlson free Friday Night every two stays or 10k points July 1-Sep 30. You can register for it HERE. I have six nights booked in a Club Carlson hotel in our upcoming vacation to the San Francisco Bay area. I could split it to 3 stays and get me three free Friday nights but…that will require me to actually pay for the privilege. But what expert would I be if I did not travel for free lol!

      The whole $.57 blog income is a little misleading. Assuming you make ~$50-100/approval on your credit card link, that’s just slightly more @ the ten cards per month quota.

        It is not.

        I had 11 cards approved here this month from June 1 to June 11. I was having visions of keeping it up, one per day and was going after TPG #joking. I stopped pumping or whining if you prefer since then. And EVERYTHING stopped, even sister in law stopped using Amazon (they are on vacation). I have not checked the other minor referral links (ebaates, top cash back, etc) yet this month, I almost never get any clicks there.

        So, to repeat, Amazon and creditcards.com revenue Jun 12 to Jun 26 is just 57 cents.

        No other moron will put all this time in a blog for that…

        But I like it I guess 🙂

        BestOffersPatrol will be back on July 1st.

          Did you forget that you promised you would stop the whining for this month because you hit your quota?

          In some ways, the whining is just as back as pumping. All you need is the BOP reminders.

            At the end of the day…it is just ridiculous I am still here almost five years into this blogging thing. I think it has to do with the fact I have no integrity whatsoever…

              I’ve probably said something like this before, but remember that a lot of us that come here every day have been around long enough to be on round 2 for all our card sign-ups, and you may not have links for a lot of those cards. Tomorrow I’m going after a Delta, Hyatt, and Aviator card, so I’ll check here for the links.

    Love how VFTW tries to add some thought leadership in his comment in the Cranky flier blogpost and falls flat on his face.

    ATM scams are so 2012. ATMs have since evolved, making skimming impossible. In Europe. The US ATMs still have primitive ways of acquiring data from the card, which rely on the mag stripe. :rolleyes:

      I saw he said something but I just can not stand reading anything he writes anymore…

      Thanks for the follow up on the ATMs, good to know. In Greece there was a gang that used to go around and steal ATMs. But they got caught.

      My brother is in Greece right now in my hometown. The situation on the ground is just shocking, the crisis has gotten so bad even he is shocked (he lives in Brazil, he is used to shocks). Maybe I should do another follow up on Greece one day…In the meantime, garbage on the streets is piling up due to garbage collector workers strike. They want to get hired in permanent positions in the government….so, they blackmail, same old story, until they get what they want. Even raising the issue of hiring a company in the private sector is still taboo! So, now it is the leftist government left to deal with it….What a sad tragedy….

          If someone will give me what Zillow states my house is worth…I am out of here!

          Had my buddy realtor come by and gave me the news…that Zillow is not to be relied on, my house can sell about $175k of the Zillow price. I lost interest 🙂

          My daughter wants to go to UofM…as of now at least.

          In 3 years it is empty nest home…The possibilities are endless.

          Greece must crash and burn before it can be saved. Just start all over. This slow sinking is just…brutal!

    (even with the discounts I can’t) and the last item in the ON SALE section is some form of

    weird lookingDILDO (the rechargeable LELO NEA 2) for $98 bucks………….has anyone

    bought this thing or

    even know how to use it?

    Look at it, how do you even hold it?

    Sometimes I wondered if I stop blogging…maybe my right ear buzzing goes away and my tinnitus is cured…But if I do that…I am going to miss the 57 cents so much LOL.
