How can some blogs pump their own readers again and again and again is amazing! Unless we are dealing with The Frugal Travel Guy doing it again and using a crappy charity as a front in my humble opinion (thanks counsel). Why does Internet Brands Inc. allow content like this to be posted, come on! Saverocity Travel has a great post about this phenomenon. Hey, I am just reporting worthy blog posts I find to save you time! Educating readers here since inception, not treating them like cattle to maximize $$ (my opinion again).
27 Spiritual Travel Experiences, another awesome AFAR list. I have been to several of these places. I “felt” it at Hagia Sophia in Istanbul and the Dom Cathedral in Cologne…I had to gather myself, what an experience!
Wow…Guy goes to jail at 25, comes out at 69 and talks about the “few” changes since then.
Virtual reality project allows an elderly man in South Korea visit his home in North Korea. Cool.
10 Infamous “Last Words” of Personal Finance. Great read!
Daily life in remote islands in Malaysia where “sea gypsies” live.
![This was harder than he thought. Tour agencies would only agree to take Réhahn to resorts, and most fishermen he encountered along the waterfront spoke no English. When he was lucky enough to find someone who did, the price they asked for the trip was high.](http://static5.businessinsider.com/image/564c908f11231499028b60b2-1200/this-was-harder-than-he-thought-tour-agencies-would-only-agree-to-take-rhahn-to-resorts-and-most-fishermen-he-encountered-along-the-waterfront-spoke-no-english-when-he-was-lucky-enough-to-find-someone-who-did-the-price-they-asked-for-the-trip-was-high.jpg)
We like weird and strange sites here at TBB, definitely not Top 40 material! So here is one that fits the bill: Weird Vintage. It has the weirdest collection of pics I have ever seen, wow!
![weird vintage:After watching a show by the Yale Puppeteers at Teatro Torito in Los Angeles featuring a marionette of himself, Albert Einstein complained the puppet wasn’t fat enough and proceeded to crumple up a letter from his pocket and pad the belly. I finally heard back from Hyatt on the Diamond match thingie. This is my second attempt. And it pretty much became clear that Hyatt made a huge mess of it, such bad execution is amazing. I am not sure they even read my emails, both times, wow! And how they tried to weasel out of their original “thought” is just plain ridiculous. Anyways, no big deal. Just expressed my feelings to make me feel better. Still waiting to hear back from Hilton on the Diamond match. They were smarter, they left the terms vague…on purpose! Waiting to hear back so I may be able to book the Conrad Tokyo for a couple of nights with that card that gives you two free weekend nights which work out great for my schedule next summer! #developing

Hello, 1st!
Just back from a Med cruise. Weather was horrible–the port of Venice was closed for about 8 hours due to gale-force winds so we couldn’t leave on schedule, so missed Dubrovnik. But had a wonderful sunny day in Rhodes. Always a pleasure to be back in Greece, even if for one day.
We were all wondering if you are okay. Glad to see you are!
Oh Rhodes…True story. I had visited my brother who was serving in the glorious Greek Army in Nicosia, Cyprus in 1986. We returned via boat to Greece and stopped in Rhodes. We were carrying electronic equipment so he can resell them in Greece. I guess I got my first taste of reselling 30 years ago lol.
Second your thoughts on the Hyatt debacle. Emailed and tweeted them Friday 11/20 and still nothing back. May try publically calling them out on Twitter.
I even try to use my travel blogger DYKWIA line…Nada. Not sure if the rep even understood what I was saying. I think they gave them a script and said you and you and your reply to 1,000 emails each and they all cut and pasted. I feel turned off by them, eeek. How can they mess it up so bad, wow!
I am sensing IHG may buy them out.
Another baseless totally out there prediction by TBB who has often been wrong 🙂
You say at the top: “Or click on the ugly brown Amazon Banner on the right side, thank YOU!”
But I never see ANY brown banner (ugly or not) Just a mild, calm little list in blue letters on a lighter blue background, labeled: TBB Referral Links.
Is my browser setting goofed up, or is there something more mysterious at work here?
Oh, and I guess I am supposed to number the post.
FIFTH! (Yes, I’ll have one of those. Canadian, please.)
If you don’t see it, is it because you may have an ad blocker running?
Ahhh…The ad blocker. Never tho0ught of that. I just went ahead and used the link in the referral links box. That works, too, right?
That Canadian Kilometers (or Lifemiles Guam deal killer if you prefer) has been on an incredible pumping streak for months now, WOW!
We also have him to blame for this first crap. #stoptheinsanity.

Wonder where the sewage goes…
Maybe we don’t want to know where the sewage goes…One day we will get a blogger do these awesome pics from these Malaysia islands and pretend they are in Bora Bora with the headline “Spent honeymoon in Bora Bora for FREE and you can too” while proceeding to pump credit cards lol.
LOL!

A TRAVELER for a big publishing house couldn’t wait to get to St.
Louis, where his oldest friend owned a prosperous bookstore. “Sam,” he
said to the owner the moment they were alone, “I want you to lend me
$2000.00.” “The answer, Joe,” said Sam, “is positively no.” “But,
Sam,” protested the salesman, “In 1929, when Bond and Share broke from
189 to 50, who gave you ten thousand dollars to keep you from being
wiped out?” “You did,” admitted Sam. “And in 1931, when your daughter
Shirley had that tropical disease, who took her down to Florida
because you couldn’t get away from business, who did, Sam?” “You, my
friend, you did.”
“And in 1933, when we were fishing together, who dove into the rapids
and saved you from drowning at the risk of his own life?” “You did,
Joe. It was wonderful!” “Well, then, Sam, in Heaven’s name, why won’t
you lend me $2000.00 now when I need it?” “All the things you say are
true,” said Sam, nodding his head slowly, “But what have you done for me lately?

That made me…yawn 🙂
We stayed at the overwater bungalows in Malaysia back in the day, and dived two of the islands in that report, Sipidan and Sibuan. Some of the best diving we have done.

17th !
So many “in” references I don’t understand half of it, but that is perfectly fine.
Buzz you are providing a great service, as I have said many times.
OK important real question !
I got an offer from AE, you know Costco is switching to Citi in 2016 so I think Amex is hoping to retain customers. Anyway this offer, if I understand it correctly, will give you a $500 statement credit after you spend $5,000 in the first three months or something.
Are the bloggers talking about this yet ? Does it sound like a good deal ?
OK just wanted to find out ! ! !
17th…lol.
Sounds like a great offer. I would go for it, pocket the free $500 and then…get rid of it 🙂
All major bloggers have a fig leaf charity somewhere on their blog, saverocity is also one of them. Stones in glasshouses…
That’s nonsense.
