Dow Jones Market Mayhem Chart and December Monthly Support Post

We bring you December’s monthly support post we do once a month begging you to keep this blog alive because if you won’t it will die and that is not what we want. Since I do not like to mail it in, some observations rolling around my head:

• This blog’s revenues were $16.40 last week, lol.
• Do you know why other blogs keep on pumping their links that earns them money? Because it must work! Whenever I start whining here about the lack of support…clicks happen!
• Biggest shock is that I am still blogging. More than six years later. That still boggles my mind.
• Perhaps with the stock market downturn it is going to hit me like so many other bloggers who quit that this is just not worth it. Thanks to the mother of all bull markets since 2009 lets just say I was not hurting. Absent a miraculous turnaround in the last two weeks of the year, the fourth quarter will be the first quarter that my income will be down. So it will likely hit me right in the face in early January that turning down new clients to whine here for the lack of support is downright idiotic.
• Ten credit card conversions and my blog posts every weekday. We are standing at just four in December, lol. Ten also happens to be the minimum quota I gotta do, sad!
• I get hit constantly by outfits that want to “work’ with me. This means pay me to promote whatever they are selling. I delete them, I just don’t feel comfortable doing that. This also includes sponsored posts. A few days ago someone called me an influencer and offered me $250 for a blog post and mentions in my Instagram, Twitter and Facebook pages. Actually I do not have TBB Facebook pages and the Instagram page is a zombie. I was tempted but I know nothing of their service so I pressed Delete.
• Maybe I do a “this blog post today is sponsored by ______” offer. Each mention is $25. You can write a sentence to go along with the link. No guns, porn, casino crap okay? Reserve the same for a whole month for $1,000…since I am running a special I settle with you for $500 🙂 Contact my marketing department…which is me! I am the janitor too.

This blog makes no money from ads, none! Meaning, I don’t do hideous clickbait crap with “shocking” videos. I am contacted constantly by outfits wishing to do guest blog posts, insert affiliate links, do sponsored posts or hawk crap I would never in a million years use myself…I delete them all!

This blog makes more money from you guys applying and getting approved for credit cards with my links. It is substantially more than the Amazon link revenue but, at the end of the day, it is pocket money for me and I would make a hell of a lot more money if I focused my time in my own job. Translating my time spent here TBBing does not correspond to even minimum wage per hour! It is sad so I would rather not think about it so please don’t remind me okay? I am also on a quota of doing ten credit card conversions per month to keep these plastic links. As long as that happens, I can keep this baby going as it has now become of who I am. But when these links go the way of Dodo (who is he?) this blog gets evolved to something you probably will not like, maybe once a week rant on Sundays with my Best of Web five links and then I find something else to do with my time. Maybe take this marathon bucket list item seriously…
