The emails from both Marriott and Starwood to their members. I read them both while holding my nose as the BS stench was just way too much…
The hits keep on coming! If this hobby was a stock, the way to play it is to short the hell out of it! Another bank pushes the knife into our backs just a little more, six months to be exact. The mega credit card pumper experts will start exploring new markets to push their credit cards…#notpretty. Now they take bonuses completely, wow.
Amazon now allows you to buy giftcards with a giftcard. Good to know!

What happens when someone dies on a plane.
The greatest sports story never told. A wonderful story about the Wimbledon football team in England. How the city rallied to start from scratch all over again after their team was ordered to move 70 miles away. How they all own a share of it. And then they started winning. Beautiful!
Your personal finance fix of the day: What Were They Thinking? Key takeaway is this:
The most important part of an investing strategy is your ability to stick with it. A subpar investing strategy that you can stick with and apply consistently will nearly always outperform a brilliant strategy you give up on. Your final investing results probably won’t be determined by whether you currently use a strategy that historically delivers an extra 50 basis points of return. What will matter is whether you had the disposition to stick with investing, however you chose to do it, through thick and thin.
An Iranian physicist captures the Iran we outsiders don’t get to see. Wow, can’t wait to visit!
Colombia’s Lost City of Marijuana.
This is super hilarious. This guy reads totally inappropriate books on the subway. The reactions are priceless. LOL fest.
I am somehow on Joe Brancatelli’s email list. And just saw that about Richard Branson which I thought was hilarious. I quote: “Richard Branson has littered the skies for 30 years with airlines that eventually crash, burn, need a bailout or get merged into history. Now he’ll take a huge payout as Alaska Airlines buys Virgin America and makes it disappear. Branson, the Donald Trump of travel, generates lots of publicity and is a master huckster. But his bombastic reign of error in travel may be nearing its end.” LOL!
And I leave you with this…

Just a few months ago Etihad awards were the easiest to book.
Today – must call Australia to book, AA US doesn’t see anything.
Must search FROM AUH, because the search is blocking everything from the US.
Must call AUS and US in the same time in order to resolve all the problems.
Can not do any connections anymore as it’s impossible to ticket it. Crazy.
All of that in addition to AA devaluation. Seriously, what’s the point?
