TBB Blog Mission: To Entertain. Educate. Inspire. In That Order!
I usually have plenty of worth material to share with you here. But lately I have to reach deeeeeeeep to find it. Must be the dog days of summer I guess.
29 Things to Know about ebay and Paypal. Two of my favorite companies…NOT!
Here are all the approved flights to Cuba.
Top Cities for Tinder. Like I said, I am reaching way deep lol. For the record, I have never been on Tinder. Or Snapchat, Instagram, Pinterest and on an on. All I do on social media is Twitter, personal Facebook and of course Linkedin. There is a Google+ and a youtube page but I have not been there in ages. How do people find the time to keep up with them all is beyond me!
Couple arrested in restaurant for assaulting each other with tasty, tasty pizza rolls. No joke. WTF! There is a picture of them…Let me just go out on a limb and say that there are much deeper issues in the relationship. Woohoo!
The Rich Dogs of London on Instagram. Hey, is that one Miles, did The Points Guy move to London? ๐
Your personal finance fix of the day: When Stocks Give You Nothing. You read my pick every day and you will be educated on the subject. So, forward my blog to your best friend. Go ahead, doeeeeeet!
But investing is an exercise in delayed gratification, and the greater the delay, the greater the gratification. Long stretches with no returns โ the 1930s, the 1970s, and the 2000s โ ended at what became the beginning of the most powerful bull markets in history. That’s no coincidence. Investing has a high correlation between pain today and payoff tomorrow, and the greatest consolation when enduring a period of no returns is realizing that with each passing day, the odds of future success stack a little higher in your favor.ย
Best drone photography, selected by National Geographic. Click it and you won’t believe how many “wow” sounds will come out of your mouth!
10 of the weirdest houses of all time. This is the Crooked House in Sopot, Poland.
The no clicks losing streak ended at three days! Finally broke through with some Amazon and had a huge day: $6.08. Take that Titans! Lol. The day this blog goes 7 straight days without a click…it will dissolve itself. Not kidding this time! Will you be able to handle it? Ok, don’t answer that. Please!
And I leave you with this…This was me yesterday going for a run and tripping…blood was everywhere. Then a huge sudden storm hit me
Please help bloggers you appreciate & make a positive difference in your life by spreading the word about their blogs, emailing and commenting and using their few $ links, thank you!

Miss those days when you could get 3x at Subway with the CSP card and ignore several 5x cards #followthemoney

George, that 6.08 came from me ordering 129$ worth of fresh Durian for your family to enjoy in front of you: https://amzn.com/B00WS7PIWS
Nice to see the French copied the Greek style of defense. Kills any joy of watching soccer. I sincerely hope ‘gasping for air’ doesn’t play like that next season. ๐
Re the drone photos. Its basically the aerial photography people used to do from small planes, but now its done from drones.
TBBTheDude says
France played better and punished the few mistakes of the German defense. WTF was up with the high hands in Euro2016 of the German defenders! If it was true Greek style of defending the Germans would not get more than a few true chances they had in this game and did not put away.

I can’t believe that daily direct flights from Charlotte to Havana may actually become a thing.
Marshall Jackson says
Hey…don’t dis CLT. ๐
Nick @ Personal Finance Digest says
CLT airport’s my home, I’m thrilled!

Ya’ know…I think I remember that now. I’m a UNC-C grad.

3 words for you guys:
Tasty pizza rolls!
Nick @ Personal Finance Digest says
That took place in Gastonia. If you had to guess a place in the Charlotte metro area where people would get arrested for throwing pizza rolls at each other, it would be Gastonia.
ABC says
Maybe it will be seasonal. Many Caribbean AA flights from CLT are. It’s surprising that they got CLT rather than NYC. The Cuban population isn’t that big in NC/SC.

Regarding “Your personal finance fix of the day”, I have yet to see a decent analysis of an economy with long term negative interest rates. Most have expected rates to go up, but they keep going down. What are the underlying driving forces and should we expect them to continue for a long time and how do you best invest in that environment?
Is Japan the best example (but w/ negative population growth)?
Historically we have “expected” ~7% return of investment that includes ~3% inflation. Returns should go go significantly.
Now is the perfect time to invest in Juno Therapeutics. You can get 30% more stocks than yesterday for the same price, 30% FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE stocks!
TravelBloggerBuzz says
These are great questions…and nobody really has the answers to them as we have not seen it happen yet so I could try to go on and sound intelligent like so many “experts” out there but I won’t ๐
One main byproduct of the lower interest rates is a little bit higher allocation on stocks is warranted….How much is up to your own risk tolerance ๐ I ‘ve been letting abt 5% higher allocation in stocks than the target…. I mean, where else would you go? Please don’t say anything involving “alts”, “hedge”, “smart beta”, “non-traded REITS” and on and on ๐
