Facebook group to fight back on the Southwest coming “enhancements” forming and looking for “Likes”. It can’t hurt the cause imho. Hate to see Southwest about to adopt Delta Skymiles tactics!
You have to watch this insanely detailed timelapse of Rio in HD – Matador Network WOW!
Six beautiful and bizarre bridges – BBC Yeah, the headline nails it!!
15 striking photos of one woman’s 1,700-mile trek across the Australian outback This is a phenomenal journey.
It’s Your Fault – The Motley Fool This is a fantastic article.
The zombie apocalypse is upon us – theCHIVE A horrific collection showing our addiction to our phones, especially among the young. Oh Lord spare us please!
Not much going on in the hobby. Just the same suspects below pretending to be “experts” while continuing to pump their readers with plastic credit card offers and all kinds of affiliate links every chance they can. Warning to bloggers who aspire to make the two good TBB lists: As long as I see you linking to them it negatively impacts your potential. Hey, it is my own lists, who cares lol.
One of these blogs will be added to the Ignore list soon when I get around to it. I have never been pumped so much via email for something I never willingly signed up for, yikes!
I was going to say something about One Mile at a Time‘s incident with his mother at the Barcelona W. But I am not going to fall into the trap…WHO CARES?
Best conference I recommend is TravelCon OC.
I am in #taxbeastmode.
Big game with my soccer “Gasping For Air” team, a win means we are champions again. Happened only once before, the highlight of my 40s!
Thank you for reading and supporting my blog by clicking my $$ links! Please ignore the troll who must be a reading and typing world champion as he only takes one minute a day to read the posts, then read every comment and then type a response. WOW! Instead click my links and comment telling him to go away 🙂 Spring is coming!

Scott, I’m in my shorts, outside grillin AND LOVIN IT……………….note to anyone reading this in California and thinking of moving here. We are just kidding it’s cold and dark and gloomy and it’s raining cats and dogs (WTF does that mean) outside.
Smith says
Trust me, no one from California is thinking of moving there.

Oregon No. 1 destination for people on the move http://portlandtribune.com/pt/9-news/245770-113589-oregon-no-1-destination-for-people-on-the-move

If only that were true.

On an unrelated note,
WTF is up with all the questions from the titans? Aren’t these guys the EXPERTS? Why do you ask your readers questions in the headlines? ~ 1/3 of FTG’s headlines end with a question mark. I would add VFTW “Which Airlines Are the Worst to Deal With By Phone? ” (Looks like you know the answer to this question. So why ask it?) and Frequent Miler’s side kick Shawn to the top of this list.
Sure it’s a way to “engage” the consumer, but it’s also fcuking annoying.
Most headline formulas suggest “Number or Trigger word + Adjective + Keyword + Promise”. I don’t see a ? in that formula.
Any questions?
Scott says
I particularly enjoyed the question posed to MMS. “If I sign up for the AA credit card and The US air card will I get 100,000 AA miles when they merge?” That of course was worthy of a blog post and links! Buzz this is why FTG wins. Too many morons entering the hobby who can’t put two and two together on their own.
TravelBloggerBuzz says
There must be some marketing data that both exclamation and question marks have a direct correlation to credit card conversions!
The evolution of click bait headlines is sure entertaining (and getting “fcuking annoying”) nowadays.
The pumping is increasing to deafening levels. Sadly, there is no end to the supply of morons who support these blogs. Good lord, you read a site for more than a month and if you don’t think that you are pumped to oblivion you must be….never mind.
Certainly amusing to watch this non sense.
I can’t believe they still pay Rick to blog about whatever was that?
Now watch 🙂
#jealous says
Its always entertaining to watch how the smug sense of moral superiority that initially emerges from those who have missed out on a mistake fare or deal quickly degrades into juvenile name calling hissie- fits. But–“who cares?”
TravelBloggerBuzz says
Yeah, it’s the same tune….Now happening much faster!
RAMSEY says
Buzz, you da man! Wow, I cannot believe you are going out there tonight to play soccer in this weather. Good luck, stay warm and wear 2 jock straps to be safe. ditto F.W.S. above… FLucky

PS maybe I am a little too sensitive, more likely neurotic, but I feel that guest writer, Devils Advocate’s post titled BET YOU DIDN’T KNOW, is condescending. The title always pisses me off, plus it means no Greg that day. Time for more zoloft?…..it is something that I would of expected from the Great and Powerful Gleff……………….and another thing while I’m ranting, to Dan of DansDeals (where my comments are banned?), Dan I luv ya, luv DD, could you please set the clock to get up earlier and get that post out quicker. I prefer to read it with my cereal and coffee instead of lunch. Thanks C.R.

Hey, it is indoors, otherwise we freeze!
FM should change his blog name to Redbird Miler 🙂
Tom says
A lot of these blogs fuel the entitlement they complain of ….. Makes it all the more entertaining.
TravelBloggerBuzz says
Yeah, that is so true. There is a fine line between entertaining and…sad.
Trying to smoke the troll out, trying hard 🙂
