We bring you a mainstream article telling us that frequent flier miles are kaput, a list of the most expensive Hyatts, new cards offering 60k Lifemiles, a list of countries sending the most students to American colleges and a very sad article about the failing state of Venezuela.

I am going to keep this really short….Wait, have you heard this before? And then you went on reading something that is longer than most blog posts you see every day? Well, I am really going to keep it to just five six links that caught my attention so you can continue eating your Thanksgiving leftovers.
And it is because I just don’t feel like it. Ok, I can do without a click on Black Friday with my links…Michigan losing to Ohio State in double overtime is still way too painful.
The Phone Numbers On The Back Of Your Credit Cards. Great reference by US Credit Card Guide (which is one darn awful name for a blog, really?)
Frequent Flier Miles Are Kaput – The Game’s About Credit Cards Now. You have no idea how upsetting it is to watch mainstream media tackle our hobby and try to sound intelligent. And look so moronic when they quote “experts” like mega credit cards salesman Brian Kelly, who founded The Points Guy and now is out, well, selling credit cards that is…like you rely on this guy to give you a non conflicted quote, WTF is wrong with the media, maybe Trump is right…ok, lets not go there now…
The Most Expensive Hyatt Hotels. The top 20 that is. Have you Vendome’d yet?
You will be able to get 60,000 Lifemiles for new credit cards issued by Banco Popular. If you follow the link in the post, you will see that they will become available on November 28. And on another note, it is great to see a new bank thrown into the mix of the usual suspects we have been dealing with for years!
Foreign countries that send the most students to the American colleges. No surprise that China and India are No. 1 and 2. But Saudi Arabia is #3 #wow.
If you want to learn more of what the man made tragedy that has become of Venezuela, you should read this: Venezuela, a Failing State. It will make your stomach turn. You want to learn something else? The idols of the morons now governing Greece were Chavez and Fidel Castro. Now you know…
One of the most memorable sites in Iran I visited was the main square in Esfahan #wow

I feel like I’m the only person who wasn’t at all impressed with the PH Tokyo. The regency a few blocks away was pretty much equal with the addition of a regency club.
The PH Milan was 100% worth it, but I wouldn’t stay more than a night there unless you just love Milan and spending unreasonable amounts of money shopping.
I’m not really a hobbyist until I Vendome though, right?

I offered to Vendome to my girls when I sent them to Paris…but they said no 🙂

I’m blown away by the quality comments about Hyatt redemption on the Reddit link. I may even sign up. The comments are a treasure ie like Flyertalk, and not Tripadvisor.
Thanks for the link George.
