I stayed at the Gili using Hilton points for my honeymoon when the Conrad was being renovated! Love that place.

Not sure why you would say #yawn to a 100k offer, even if you have to pay the annual fee. 100k is 4 roundtrip tickets to Hawaii. That is nothing to #yawn at and definitely worth $95 annual fee. Also for what it is worth, I applied for the 50k no annual fee offer two weeks ago. I called Chase and they bumped me up to 100k offer. No mention of now having to pay the annual fee. Could have been oversight on CSR not to mention it, or maybe I still don’t have to pay annual fee. I’m curious to find out.

If you are interested in the BA 100K offer, check the links closely, there could be better (hidden?) deals. Last time this was offered in 2013, my wife and I both got the card but used different application links because I like to spread the wealth amongst the bloggers I like. Anyways, a funny thing happened while we were diligently working towards our spending thresholds. When she reached the 10K mark, another 50K Avios were deposited into her account so she got the 100K bonus after only 10K spend. My card followed the pattern specified in the offer, I didn’t get all my Avios until the 20K mark was reached. The interesting thing is that the offer pages were the same because I took screenshots. Maybe it was a CHASE-y glitch, I’d be interested to hear if anyone else experienced this “problem”. We have long since cancelled our cards when the AF came due. #winning

But any list which claims the SPG hotel in Seville is $2,900 per night is suspect …

Really, old rooms from the Crillon are in the Met in NYC. No, seriously they are! And they are spectacular to see!
As for me, I’ll only get to dream of staying at the Crillon. Unless I win the lottery.
But the PHVendome? Not going to happen.
