Loyalty Traveler has been doing some amazing work lately. Here is the latest Hilton Honors 5,000 Points Hotel Rewards Sep 2018 global list.
It is time to register for the 5% cards for the 4th Quarter again. Do this now: register for 2018 fourth quarter bonus categories.
I made a few editions to my list of cards available with my links. On the very top I have the ones that have an offer expiration date now. And gone are the 60k Amex Delta Gold and 70k Amex Delta Platinum cards. In comes the Amex Delta Reserve for Business for 70k (and the $450 AF, so only for hardcore Delta elites!). Is it fully updated? Hell no! If you want to volunteer to keep it super updated you can be an unpaid staffer volunteer!
You may have missed this. If you have the personal SPG Amex card you can earn an additional point for each dollar spend on supermarkets and restaurants for a maximum of up to 2,000 Marriott Rewards. The last two words in the previous sentence just kind of ruined my appetite though…
If you somehow never enrolled in National Car Rental Emerald Club, you can get Executive Status if you have an Amex card.
This opens this Sunday! While we are awarding huge tax cuts to people who don’t need them and starting trade wars, yikes! Everything you need to know about taking Hong Kong’s new high-speed rail to China.
Here is a link with the Best Cable Car Rides in the World. I always get a bit freaked out riding them…
This is great news for flyers to/from northern Greece! Thessaloniki airport to get new terminal. Thanks to the Germans who bought most of the Greek govt owned airports in Greece, one of the few real reforms enforced!
In total Fraport is investing 415 million euros in the 14 airports, with five of them set to get new terminals, five more to have their existing terminals upgraded and the other four terminals to be renovated.
What you do matters, I always try to give my time to a younger person starting out to help them…when I could be working on my blog’s business plan woohoo! Here is Bezos recalling an event from his college years and that person finds out on Twitter, amazing!
It is now ten years since the dark days of the financial crisis. Many youngsters do not recall any of it and have only seen stock markets go up, I wonder how they will react when mayhem comes back…That was a rhetorical question of course. So, what I am trying to say is we are getting lots of posts online regarding the 10th anniversary. For an amazing perspective from the inside, this is an account you will really appreciate, I sure did. Enjoy and you are always welcome.
Okay, I am on this 10th anniversary of the financial crisis theme lately…Here is an account from a guy working at Lehman Brothers.
Some gems and some completely ridiculous ones in this list! The Most Popular Song of Each Year (1940-2017).
What a super sad story this is! The Collyer Brothers: History’s Worst Hoarders. And I thought my wife’s closet was bad lol.
Nice pics from China’s Yunnan province.
What a site! Giant spiders have covered a Greek beach in their webs.
It is not news when Delta raised the baggage fee from $25 to $30. The real news was to find out what took them so long! Expect AA to finally come on board very shortly…Done just a few hours after I wrote this LOL.
I swear…RAT teams must have saved “sweet spots” search results on Google Alert…as it does not take that long to kill them! Bloggers use these to attract new readers and then impress the hell out of them how they can fly for free only if they would get a bunch of travel rewards credit cards that pay said bloggers fat sales commissions. Hey, it is hard work being a blogger, lets not be so hypocritical about it 🙂
When you add a link to one of these blogs , do not expect to have that post linked here. And each time you add a link to these blogs the TBB Blog Review Committee keeps score…
I think this card will definitely be considered to enter our wallets again as it sucked so bad before! AmEx PRG Revamped! 4x on Restaurant and Grocery, $120 dinning credit per year! We shall see what happens…Encouraging to see Amex not lay down!
If you can get approved for the Barclays JetBlue Business credit card for 50k miles, consider going for it. Not available with my links yet, so sad. Barclays is becoming very stingy to approve apps, beware!
You all know what’s coming…Head’s up!
21 miles ran this week with one running day left. This matches the total for last week already. And no calf pains yet #winning.
And I leave you with this…

Buzz, are you joining the blogger parteeeee today?
Iberia checks for the Avios promo have hit, should be high four-figures / low five-figures for most. That’s how you travel for freeeee.

Oh man, I should get the TBB Board to work on that darn business plan one of these days…
Can you imagine the cries against me calling hypocritical then? Lol.
Thanks to the reader who placed the biggest order ever with my Amazon link. The one with the 8 units. I almost fell off my chair. That alone was almost good enough for a whole month average revenue here.
Just 3 conversions this month. Two were mi familia’s. Lol. Looks like another evolution in October. It may be pumping airline/hotel links from what you are saying…
On the other hand, it looks like some bloggers out there are packing on the weight and others in videos look so much older…Maybe they should lay off the blogging, I don’t know, hire a personal trainer perhaps or stop flying so much…
Should be a great weekend. The US stock markets just keep going, thanks Obama 🙂

It’s more difficult to stay fit when you travel a lot. It’s a lot easier to stay in decent shape when you have routines for eating and/or fitness and travel tends to disrupt routines. Plus it’s easier to overeat when you’re eating out.

Agreed on all counts.
But…it is about priorities. Some bloggers value money above…health 🙂

I am REALLY looking forward to that new Thessaloniki terminal! They have had the scaffolding up for a while now and they have already redone part of the interior to make it like most international airports where the security line dumps you into the Duty Free area before you get to the gates. 🙂
They really need to work on the gates in the international area. I think a few years ago, it was just a few flights and countries. Now, there is Russia, Serbia, Romania, Israel, UK, Turkey, Qatar, UAE, and maybe one or two others that head out of there. No lounge for crying out loud! 🙂
They need to improve the parking situation as well. Already way too packed. As for the doubling of the security check points, they already dropped it from 2 to 1 so that isn’t that exciting!

I have faith in the Germans 😉

THAT is definitely an outlier 🙂
