Wyndham Rewards won some type of loyalty program ranking, whatever. And SPG was ranked last, WTF! I find it so amazing that pumping bloggers stay silent about new credit cards UNTIL they get their own affiliate links and then…they get all excited selling the plastic. I am talking urgency (Hurry, limited offer, last chance, etc.) and exclamation marks galore. If you bring it up…they call you angry. Whatever, be careful out there, educate the newbies!
I received another offer to pump Uber for drivers affiliate links. Hmmm, am I seeing a pattern here or what? Did my Alexa rankings finally reached critical mass worthy of making me an online marketing whore salesman? I wonder if I should do it…I think I got maybe four clicks on my regular Uber referral link in four years woohoo! Oh, that guy offering me $40 for sponsored post never got back to me after I asked what is the link to be inserted.

That Islands list was kinda dumb. For one thing, they include islands that, while not hugely popular, have been locations of the show “Survivor” so many Americans would have heard of them: Vanuatu and Micronesia.

Did you notice that MMS used to have a cautionary statement about credit card use in each post…yeah, that one is still there…NOT! It’s all about conversions! Always was with these businesses. The rest is all BS 🙂
That Marriott Hawaii hotels go me excited. Their credit card annual anniversary will forever be useless for hotels in Hawaii, I think. It won’t be usable for hotels even after Starwood hotels are gobbled up. The worst Marriott Hotel – King Kamehameha – is a Cat 6 and the worst Starwood hotel – Princess Kaiulani – is still better than the King Kam so doubtful that it will be a Category 5 or lower with Marriott.
Thought about doing that Flight partners thingie after transferring my SPG pts to Marriott. Naaaah, will unload a chunk for a Four Points by Sheraton in San Diego a few blocks away from a super expensive Hyatt, the conference hotel. Works for me 🙂
Just listened to new tapes on Trump, sounds like a guy I want to party with!! I hope Donald counters with some tapes of Bill discussing Cats, or Hillary talking about her husband’s infidelity and why she allows it.
On a more serious Travel Blog related topic, don’t you think that Billy Bush was behind the release of the tapes? After all, Trump went after Uncle Jeb ( Not Clampett) pretty hard and GrandMa Barbara was pissed. Looking forward to Sunday’s debate, this could start to get nasty.
