Currently vacationing in San Francisco area. Moving very slow and doing much less than usual, is this a sign of getting old perhaps? The San Francisco Fairmont is fantastic. Son joined us for a rare family dinner at the Tonga room. By the time you read this we’ll be camped in Sunnyvale. I loved visiting Alcatraz, a bucket list item for me ever since I watched “Escape from Alcatraz”!
I am keeping up with Feedly. As much as I can. Same old bullshit in the blogs. Online marketers selling credit cards. Click bait shit. Same old deals everyone repeats. It is pretty sad out there…

Alcatraz is neat! Enjoy the trip, hopefully you’ll see some redwoods while you’re out there. And some wineries.
Nick’s an astute writer, but I’m pretty sure there aren’t any wineries on Alcatraz.

I scored a Toyota Camry at Hertz. So many Kia and Hyundai cars available.
Son took us out to Mountain View downtown, we had some Poke food. Interesting stuff. But way too much raw fish for me.
We drove to Veritas and his apartment. I am surprised the area here is a lot more laid back residential-ish than I thought. The Country Inn and Suites property in Sunnyvale is great with awesome location off the highway, great staff, kick ass wifi and non stop coffee.
The weather has sucked ever since we got to CA. Only on Sunday it had warmed up a bit. My girls are enjoying vacay moving very slow as I am taking one for the team again lol. I want to go hiking so bad but daughter’s legs are not cooperating…but, for some reason, she can go shopping non stop, smh.
I think we’ll check out the little towns around here, maybe go into San Jose…
