Open a Singapore Airlines Kris Flyer account and get 500 miles for free. Free is good.
This was actually pretty good. Be Aware of These Quirks When Rebooking Southwest Flights.
It is March 1st. Goodbye Gold Passport, hello World Of Hyatt #holdtheboos And they could not keep the new site up smh #restarttheboos.
So, this will be the final year of SPG it appears. At some point I expect the Amex SPG 35k offers to no longer be available, maybe ever. So, if your mother in law never had these cards and thinks 524 means May 24th, perhaps she should consider getting one with my links or some other worthy small blogger! Not sure if this qualifies as pumping. If it does, so be it…if it makes you feel better you two haters π
32 Beautiful Ruins. I love ruins, especially when they are beautiful! That…Bokor…site, wow!
I am sure you heard about the huge bust of Indian scammers calling Americans while posing as IRS agents. Well, this is the story of the Indian cop who took down this massive IRS call center scam. Thank you Sir!
I have featured before here some articles about the empty cities built in China waiting for people to move into…and waiting. To comprehend what has been taking place there, this sentence will make you take notice: “…China used more concrete in the three years between 2011 and 2013 than the whole of the United States used in the 20th Century.” It actually may have started to happen… #developing
Your personal finance fix for the day: Oil and Water. As in certain words should never be used in the same sentence. They are all great but this is my fav:
Fee and Basedβ Either you are an advisor who will look out for your clientsβ best interests or you are not. Confusing people with a title that is deceptive and lets advisors sell commissioned products (while claiming they are fiduciaries) are two words that should have been separated at birth.
This North Korean twitter account is so hilarious!
A Day Trip to Kaieteur Falls, Guyana. Wow, this must be THE waterfalls to visit. Oh, it is the highest single drop waterfall in the world.
BLOG BUZZ
This section is for advanced level hobbyists and veteran blog readers
This one comes and goes all the time lately….Citi American Airlines 50,000 offer without the restrictive 24 month language.
Well, it is March now and maybe, just maybe, there is a pre approved offer for you if you visit your local Chase branch. And for us too, been a while! I want to grab a 100k offer or two. Just….out of principle lol. Does anyone know when bankers get their screens refreshed for the month?
Yesterday the dude over at RenesPoints (formerly DeltaPoints) stopped by here to call me some names….When enemies visit your blog and you have not been in theirs for years as their content makes me violently ill… #winnning
For the record, I have nothing against other bloggers. Except two. I love everybody else. Even if you make it in one of my blog lists or come off of one of them, we can still be friends, don’t take it personally! I call the shots as I see it. Feel free to start your own blog to call your own shots! Warning: Don’t bank on Amazon revenue! #phuckingJetBlue lol.
This space needs another deals site…said no one ever!
When I see shit like that, it makes me want to do that!
Well, look here, I got another email from Frugal Travel Guy selling me credit cards. And they get the number of miles wrong! This never happens at TPG or MMS! One day I will learn how to do these sexy arrows and surprise you all! π
And I leave you with this…
Wow, there goes another. How did you like this pumping going on here, hey?

Glob feels appropriate for the new W of H crap.

it may be new but Hyatt’s website still sucks!!

Maybe I send him the same interview questions MMS sent me a long time ago to do a Friday interview instead to do here and make it a parody π
My doctor told me at my annual physical told me it is time for me to schedule my first colonoscopy, PHUCK!

I was actually joking about that….Maybe one day, you know, I move so slow!
Selling credit cards with colonoscopies…oh man, that could be a hell of a parody.
I have about 4 months for that colonoscopy…Can’t believe I am at this age #wow

Expect post by Gary on Singapore Airlines after he reads Loyalty Lobby shortly π

Never mind, it was posted already HTing “Gul C”. Guess Alan H. was getting a bit old lol.

It went out by an e-mail blast from Singapore so I am surprised he did not get it there. I got it a couple of hours ago so maybe it is by region?
TravelBloggerBuzz says
You have two posts making it into my blog post tomorrow…Really good stuff!
Ryan says
I haven’t had the SPG business card before so I should probably get that while I still can.
Wow that China construction – I had no idea. Pretty crazy. Guess they’re taking the “if you build it, they will come” approach.
Love the ruins. The wife and I really enjoy visiting ruins and abandoned sites. Just something so thought provoking about them.
Renespoints eagerly posted about you to the “blogs that censor” thread on FT…I think he’s the only person on earth who cares. Guy kinda reminds me of a gnat at a picnic – can’t do any damage but just keeps buzzing around, being a nuisance, and you know it will eventually land in your potato salad.
TravelBloggerBuzz says
LOVE that last sentence. Thought about sharing it tomorrow in the blog post but I won’t.
Thanks for the laugh.
And now I won’t ever have a potato salad π

Thank you for posting that GIF, it is a perfect example of Cross Sport Training (CST). The young lady is not only practicing her futbol skills but also her head first sliding into second base.

When she walked in, I thought she was an angel. With her flowing hair. Those legs. Wow. Stunning indeed. And when you think she married that dude you think….WHY? Why ugly vulgar men get the best women, why? I have seen this happen so many times….and can’t help but wonder….what the hell is this gorgeous woman find in this man? Never understod that….life is so unfair sometimes.
Take it easy man. Amazon has slowed to a trickle now with JetBlue. Something really inappropriate shows up here and my 2 haters (now 3 with John) will report me pronto and then boom…I am pretty much done. Thanks.
bluecat says
Why the “ugly, vulgar men”? Do I have to $pell it out for you?
He thinks he only has 3 haters LOL says
TBB got fooled by his dozen yes boys who comment here. This site is bad. You sell daily, then think people who comment on it are “haters,” your tweeting is annoying and repetitive, and you have no content. Used to be good when you critiqued blogs who pimp for money but you are one of them now. Not even better than MMS or OMAAT. The only reason you “only” have 3 haters is b/c nobody cares enough about this site to feel strong about it either way.
TBBTheDude says
Looks like John learned how to use a mirroring site. Maybe even a VPN!
Why do you read bad sites? Seriously? Ok, you are so right on every single thing you mentioned. You win. You are the best. You should start your own blog so you can have yes boys tooooo!
Leave us alone with my dozen yes boys. Wait a minute, I hope they are not all boys. Nothing against them but I would sure like some girls around here toooo.
Wish you the best.

Why would anyone use a Radisson or Hilton CC?
You’re better off with a 2x card.
Anonymous says
depends on need. carlson points great for me in europe. got over 1k in value from hilton reserve.
flyernick says
I’ve found it pretty easy to justify some spend & points build up from both. Like Anonymous mentioned, I got great value from Carlson points in Scandinavia. But you don’t have to go to Europe. There are lots of Country Inn & Suites in the Midwest, which are actually pretty nice places to stay (if you aren’t Vendoming). Tend to be around $129+tax for normal times or 28000 points, so the points, earned at 5/$ , are a bit better than a 2% card. But now figure in a weekend where rates are really inflated across the board (something like Big Ten football weekend), and you can get really outsized value. If you look at similar high demand periods for Hilton, you can still find outsized value, even with all their devaluations.
ABC says
A few years ago it was great in the Nordic countries. But now it’s 70000 Club Carlson points in Stockholm or Copenhagen. No thanks. You’re much better off using Choice hotel. Or pay cash.
TravelBloggerBuzz says
My two free nights for those e-certs we got for US bank killing the bogo feature came in very handy at a Traverse City Country Inn last summer! But other than that not much use. Had a few nights at least at the Chicago Blu property, not worth the 70k to blow on it….I think I still have 500k left. I have no idea why I keep the card still….I think I need to use it once soon
Oliver2002 says
Colonoscopies are fun: you shed a few pounds, you get to enjoy some of MJs dreamjuice propofol, etc. I will do my third one in May again. My cousin had colon cancer in late 2015 and ‘only’ lost a few feet of gut.
TravelBloggerBuzz says
I can sure lose a few pounds around here. Yeah, I know I need to get it done…in July π
bluecat says
Buzz, what’s the word on whether or not the 35K SPG Amex *business* card is churnable or not? I can’t see to find definitive info.
And, if so, I can throw you a bone if you have a 5K referral link for me.
bluecat says
Never mind. DoC answered it for me….”no dice”
That guy’s Top Credit Card list is slightly better than MileNerds, IMO: more organized and curated.
bluecat says
Anyone here think Trump wrote his own State of the Union speech? Everyone is talking about what a new leaf this guy is turning and how presidential he now looks, while all I can think is that “Was it Steve or Jared who’s talking?”
(Not trying to start anything but, c’mon!, no comments on this?!?!)
TBBTheDude says
If he wrote that speech, I am Spiderman!
You could tell he was so uncomfortable by some of that stuff he had to read in the teleprompter.
We’ll go back to the 3 am tweets and mean moronic moves shortly.
La la land…if you were counting how much he was going to spend AND bring down taxes. No worries, NATO helps with “the money pouring in”. LOL.
