Your personal finance fix of the day week”: Investment Management vs Financial Advice. MUST read
The remotest island in the world: Tristan da Cunha. Residents: 265. Wow! Love learning about obscure places like this. Just to get an idea, here is an excerpt below, check out this link! One day I will insert an affiliate link in one of these links like Titans do hehe.
Located pretty much smack bang in the middle of the South Atlantic ocean, with no airport, small fishing boats from South Africa service the islands a few times a year. A cargo and passenger ship used to connect the main island once a year to St. Helena, the nearest inhabited land lying 2,000 kilometres north, but since 2006, it’s only showed up twice. You can get an idea of how isolated the island is by seeing how many times you need to zoom out on Google maps before you see one of the other continents
Photographing the Incredible Costumes of Japan’s Supernatural Festivals. Kind of creepy…in a unique Japanese way.

Great day in Tehran! Gracious hosts. Just four made it, an Australian, a Canadian and a Malaysian lady. Hotel is really nice, wifi works great. Hellish traffic jams. Super modern city, never felt unsafe. Crashed and caught up on sleep. Went to 2 sites last night snd will start a full day here this morning.
Will post a few pics on Twitter.
I have posts scheduled through Oct 27.

Went for a morning run by the former US American Embassy compound. Epic…considering the history of this place, kind of hard to describe the feelings about it, I was a kid in 1979 watching the scenes on TV.
