As you know, I go through quite a few blogs to find worthy stuff to share with you. There are a few times when something hits me so hard that I thought it would be best to make a separate blog post because it would be a pity to include it with others.
I am adding another site to my ridiculously long RSS feeds with Feedly.
12 Amazing Staircases Around The World. Here are a few, Wow!!
Nice!
You are number 1:-)
I wanted to write that, but was worried I would be gazumped, so I wrote something that was casual and generic.
But yes. I am first people!
Buzz. Never hear you mention Hack My Travel. It’s on my daily read list and he seems like a good/honest kid. I throw him a few signups time to time. Your thoughts…………………….Anyone see Clark?
Is this HMT’s cousin Eddy?
Clark Griswald’s Cousin Eddy.
aka Ramsey, still pose the same question as earlier.
Hmmm…Link?
Do you mean Scott McKenzie’s Hack My Trip?
I’m sure he did.
Scott is a nice guy. He came down to Portland a few months ago to get a FF meetup group going and some of us met again in conjunction with the World Domination Summit, thanks to Trav of ExtraPackofPeanuts offering to meet any FFers while he was in PDX for the summit. One of the people who attended is starting a google group to also help us keep in touch.
Asiana crash reminds me of TWA 843 (L1011 bound for SFO from JFK)…7/30/92 crashed on takeoff. I watched that plane burn up on the runway from a taxiing 747 I was working to ATH. I remember how pissed the pax were because we left 2 hours late, they couldn’t care less about the people on board. True story. Fortunately things worked out great…..not familiar with this crash? ……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….see……………………………. https://www.google.com/search?hl=en&site=imghp&tbm=isch&source=hp&biw=1366&bih=653&q=twa+843+crash&oq=twa+843&gs_l=img.1.1.0j0i24.6429.10537.0.12749.7.6.0.1.1.0.58.304.6.6.0…0.0.0..1ac.1.17.img.TX-QD-VaujE
Thanks SO MUCH for posting that link. I found this there:
http://www.twaflight843.com/mystory.html
and still have goose bumps after reading her story.
At first I thought you were referring to the TWA plane that went into the ocean but now recall 843. The FA were truly heroes then too, just as they were yesterday.
Wow, what a story! My first flight ever was on a TWA plane.Landed in JFK with it from the mother land. I liked it!
Yeah, Scott is nice and writes a good blog. I never met Travis and I do give him a hard time here in my blog. He just needs to focus more, he is all over the place. All I know about the WDS is Gary Leff always speaks in it:-)
You’re not eddy Ramsey from HK by chance?
Very nice..thanks for sharing!
U are welcome. Checking the site looks like you will be seeing a lot more of it in my blog! Geography was my favorite subject in school growing up. Then in college majored in…accounting (gasp!)
Love this! A bunch of places we just added to my bucket list 🙂
Me too. My travel bucket list is probably longer than my to do list:-)
Beautiful!
