Yep, it happened again. Yep, AccorHotels bought another company. Chile’s Atton Hoteles. Nope, never heard of them either. They just blew another $105 million for, please sit down, just 11 hotels. When we look back, something tells me that this company will not do well!

Update on son’s application for the Chase Southwest Business Rewards card. It turned into a disaster. They did not accept the sole proprietorship filing with the local county because the county clerk signed the date as 5/18/18 instead of 5/8/18! Even though 5/8/18 was on the one page form in two different places, unbelievable! But even there was no issue with that, they just seemed non cooperative at all, even insisted the form was invalid because it was handwritten! Smh to oblivion! After that did not fly…they found the date error. We could go back to the County and see what they can do I guess but remember at this point a lot of time has been wasted! So son will keep the Amex Starwood Business card for his business expenses for now. Left a VERY sour taste…and this is how you lose customers for ever! Just heads up you guys…make sure the dates match! And never go to the local county late on a Friday #weekendmode. Oh well…
We are aiming to hit the Bay area again for a week in early/mid August. Son has promised to give us a tour of the Facebook headquarters because last year all we got was a lousy T shirt…actually, no T shirts for us, just a few pics outside. Here is one of my daughter messing with her brother:
